Now CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Is Seeking Russians, Military Officers, And African Americans
It appears Marvel is now open to casting African Americans as Wakandians in Captain America: Civil War according to the latest casting call, which seeks several other diverse background extras
With principal photography reportedly scheduled to commence tomorrow in Atlanta, Georgia, Captain America: Civil War has released new (and updated some old) casting calls in the area. The previous Tammy Smith Casting notice had said that the Marvel Studios production was looking for upscale men/women, military men, Africans Wakandians, southeast Asian men/women, and college students. However, the latest casting call for the 2016 Marvel sequel seeks the following:
MILITARY OFFICERS/OFFICIALS
Ages 50 - 75 - distinguished men, all ethnicities
Former Military is a plus but not mandatory
Films in May
AFRICAN & AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN & WOMEN
Ages 18 to 75
Casual looks or Ethnic African Wardrobe (is a plus, but not mandatory)
(Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, Cameroon, etc...)
Films in mid May
RUSSIAN MEN
(or other Eastern European or Slavic types - Polish, Czech, Serbian, etc...)
Ages 25 to 65 - tough types, character types, burly types, etc..
beards are a plus, but not mandatory

COLLEGE STUDENTS & ALUMNI TYPES
Ages 18 to 60
-Ivy League College appropriate attire required
