@Omega, agreed. I'd love to see spidey's civil war armor on the big screen

Agreed

@0megaDaGod

What are really against the possibility that they have second script at hand just in cause they get Spidey?

I know people may disagree, but in my opinion it's like this...

Maguire = great Peter Parker.

Garfield = okay Spider-Man.

Not that he was 100% accurate to the character, but Garfield's Spider-Man was leagues better than Maguire's, and Maguire's Parker was leagues better than Garfield's.

Ya'll do realize that Maguire is too damn old to play spidey right.
I don't think he can pull off a teenager or a early 20 year old no more.

Let it go

if all this happens, marvel will cast an upcoming young actor that has never played the character before on film. unless they go with an older spider (unlikely), no other scenario is a possibility.

@omega

Who says they didn't? From the Russo bros wanting to produce the next spiderman, to the rumors of marvel wanting spiderman in civil war from the Sony emails and months of negotiation, marvel DEFINITELY has a script with spiderman in civil war, and probably has for months now. Filming isn't even close to beginning. If this settles in January, they definitely can have spidey be in civil war.

We already know how marvel works. If they're trying THIS hard right now to get spiderman, they have 1st and 2nd drafts of spiderman in civil war, and his place within the MCU going forward. Especially if this plan already trickled down to directors, i.e the Russo bros, which they seemingly were some they offered to produce the new spiderman.

Read the later comics. He never acts much like tobey. He's basically confident and talks back to a couple of people like flash and Jameson and that was as Peter Parker.

Marc Webb, andrew garfield, James Horner, and Hans zimmer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>same raimi, tobey's guide and Danny elfman.

those were minimal jokes. they are pretty forgettable as well. hell he doesn't emote well with the mask either. it's part of the reason why alot of people despised his peter parker.

"I think people in time will see Raimi and Maguire's as the superior take once again the next time someone gets the role, I really think because it was just the first time people had seen someone else play the character and they just needed another name to associate with it for a bit, that "new shiny thing" they were clinging to and not so much Garfield himself, because objectively there is literally NOTHING special about his role or unique to it and there's almost zero heart to it like Raimi's had. A lot of people said the same thing about Kilmer's Batman after Batman Forever and boy were they wrong about that, Keaton is still the best Batman in live auction to date and I fully expect Maguire to become the Connery of Spider-Mans."

LOL no they didn't say the same about kilmer on batman. infact he was the most forgettable take. maguire was just bad. just plain bad. just terrible. he never conveyed anmy emotions or anything and no, once we have the new spiderman people will notice the flaws in maguire. he';s basically terrible. peter barely acted anything like maguire. people are noticing so much flaws with maguire it's funny. and no, tobey won't become the sean connery of spidermans. if they are hiring a new actor for spiderman then he'll be leagues better than him and notice more on what's wrong with maguire like his personality. he won't be debatable and the only thing people say is that "well at least tobey was a nerd" which if you read the comics hasn't been like that for decades" he's pretty much a little bit like garfield's take on the character

"Pretty much everything about the Raimi films is iconic. They're a part of culture."

until the following years you'll notice that alot of people are finding them overrated as well as tobey.

"The Garfield films are not and are a fad. Gone like the chaff in the wind they are now finally thank God."

and yet alot of people love his take and even hating the films admit he's a way better take on both sides of the character than maguire and the chemistry with him and stone were better than maguire and dunst.

"Oh yeah, that was totally sick how Garfield's Parker stood up to imaginary Jameson in that email, man! Such balls and bravery!"

and yet maguire never did the same to jameson. never called him out or anything. he's always just telling him spiderman is doing good like anybody even without balls would say.

"Hahaha.

Please. Raimi and Maguire's Spider-Man all the way is the TRUE take, and Danny Elfman can score circles around Zimmer dubstep percussion man and James "sounds like Titanic" Horner's score."

and this is coming from the guy who seems like he barely knows the comics. maguire and raimi were never the true take and thanks to TASM 1 and the other comic book films i'm golad they're being forgotten. i'm glad people are noticing their flaws. i'm glad people are noticing flaws about tobey. and no, elfman was too pretentious. zimmer and horner felt natural.

Recast Spidey like Ruffallo as Hulk and reboot and put him in Captain America: Civil War.
