Two Characters missing in the Captain America and Iron Man team Promo Arts and what could this mean for Captain America?

As the promo arts revealing the team of superheroes has been revealed they seem to have a few problems.

The problems with both these promo arts is that two heroes are missing and they are Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man
Scarlet Witch vs Spider-Man

the two youngest members of the two opposite teams and here from Iron Man's team are War Machine Black Widow, Iron Man Black Panther and Vision but no Spider-Man. Well I guess well find out for sure whether he will participate in the battle or just cameo.

and with Captain America's team featuring Hawkeye, Ant Man, Captain America, Falcon, Winter Soldier and Sharon Carter? Where is Scarlet Witch/ She better still be alive!

Clearly these are just promo images of the teams, nothing that official just yet. But other then why Emily Vancamp's character is being a part of Captain America's team when her character Sharon Carter is not a superhero or a member of the Avengers, the bigger and more important question is why doesn't the two promo arts of the two teams have Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch in them? Has Marvel forgotten to include them in the promos or is it because they'll be the only ones not competing against opposite sides in the film and what could this mean?

Hopefully this doe NOT mean that Scarlet Witch will be killed off because it was bad enough for Joss Whedon to act like a jerk killing off her brother Quicksilver in Avengers Age of Ultron that we are not going to tolerate anymore superhero deaths until Avengers Infinity War. Hopefully if the Russo Brothers are reasonable they will have made sure that Olsen's character survives throughout the third Captain America movie that the reason that she and Tom Holland's Spider-Man are not seen in the promos that if the rumors of the film's plot being triggered by Captain America and Scarlet Witch sending Crossbones into the air wearing a suicide vest that blows him and number of civilians up that are caught in the blast radius and after meeting Scott Lang, that the reason that she is not shown in the promo might be because she is sitting out from the fight out of guilt and then again with rumors that she may still participate in the fight along with Spider-Man being rumored to fight Captain America, then they may show up not as participants but to break up the fight between other heroes sensing that they are being set up. And for Bruce Banner, he might just cameo saying that he is not gonna risk bringing out the Hulk again after what happened in Avengers Age of Ultron and for General Ross, he'll probably show up only to get the heroes under government control. Still to find out why Marvel did not include Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man in the promos then we'll have to either ask Marvel and the directors or stay tuned for more updates on the movie and hope that they do NOT disappoint us because Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man mean a lot to us.

Remember, this shit was bought and leaked. These concepts are for toy companies. Toy's Disney want to make the focus of the film.

Man... Iron Man's team is STACKED! Without Wanda, Cap's team is waaaay out gunned. I mean, this version of the Vision could theoretically take out everyone on both teams, depending on how fully he can use that infinity gem.

I'd always assumed the core fight would be;

Cap vs Iron Man
Falcon vs War Machine
Hawkeye vs Black Widow
Scarlet Witch vs Vision

as this gives each team equal strength and each character their own personal battle.

Ant-Man, Black Panther and Spider-Man would be 'floating voters'.

The political split would be represented by Sharon Carter (Cap) and Thunderbolt Ross (Stark).

Baron Zemo & Crossbones are the villains, with Bucky being the cause of the initial fight.

What's up with Black Widow's huge thighs and long legs, it looks so disportionate to her body. It's like her downstairs is going to swallow you whole.

It's pretty obvious Marvel is playing Spider-Man close to the chest and is not going to focus on him much like they did Vision. They want him to be the "surprise" As for Scarlet Witch I swore I read she was neutral. She's not really on anyone's side.

You're reading WAY too much into this.

Who knows how long ago these promo pics were first put together. The popular theory right now seems to be that these were first created before Age of Ultron was finalized, meaning Marvel still wasn't sure who would live/die out of the Maximoff twins. So they just omitted both of them entirely as a just-in-case.

It's also possible that the deal with Sony simply hadn't happened yet...but it's more likely that Marvel didn't want to "spoil" their first reveal of Spidey's look in a promo pic that could (and did, apparently) get leaked.

@GliderMan This article from a few months back is a GREAT explanation for why we might never see that sort of crossover between the films and the TV shows. This sort of stuff is always more trickier than we like to think, unfortunately.

@GliderMan Again though, it's way more complicated than some executive just going "Hey, you play a super-powered character on TV, show up on set for Civil War so we can show you fighting the big-screen heroes!" There's complicated contracts to consider, there's the writer's individual preferences for each show (what if they don't even want their character - say Daredevil - meeting Captain America because it would screw up their plans for Season 2?), and there's the timing issue that the article goes into detail with.

And with the reshoots, it's not like they can go wildly off-script and just add in whatever the heck they want. It's usually just little tweaks and tinkering to make sure every scene flows and maybe for some scenes to be extended a bit or otherwise edited.

Adding in completely new characters altogether in reshoots would only make sense if they were filming a little post-credits tag...and I get the feeling that's not exactly what you mean when you say you want the TV heroes to show up in Civil War.
