Liv Tyler To Return As Betty Ross For CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER

Captain America: New World Order is currently filming, and thanks to THR, we have word on a late addition to the cast.

After previously being rumored to return to the MCU, Liv Tyler is officially set to reprise the role of Betty Ross for the fourth Captain America movie, fifteen years after debuting in The Incredible Hulk.

Tyler only made a single appearance as the daughter of General "Thunderbolt" Ross, as most of the 2008 film's supporting characters fell by the wayside after Mark Ruffalo took over from Edward Norton as Bruce Banner.

However, after the late William Hurt's return as the general in Civil War was followed by Tim Roth (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) and Tim Blake Nelson (who will also feature in New World Order), speculation begun to mount that it may only be a matter of time before Tyler followed suit.

Harrison Ford will replace Hurt as Ross in New World Order. The rest of the main cast includes Shira Haas as Israeli superheroine Sabra, the returning Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, and Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon.

Anthony Mackie will take flight as the new Sentinel of Liberty after taking up the mantle in Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Captain America: New World Order is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

I can’t remember if it was announced, but was Hulk confirmed to be in this already?

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Not confirmed but Banner is likely to be in it.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - yes. I believe it was reported. I’m not sure about officially confirmed. But if they are bringing in Thunderbolt Ross, Leader, and Betty, then it would be incredibly weird if he wasn’t in this.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Don't think so. Just a rumor for now.

Lmao, they hold so little trust in Anthony Mackie leading a movie that they’re making it into Hulk 2

@Cap1 - hey this is the bitterness I was talking about in the other article. Go outside and breathe the fresh air!

And realize that they made him the title character and set this as the marquee film of next summer

@Cap1 - most MCU movies have team ups these days

@Cap1 - This is quite the take. Did they not trust Chris Evans to carry Civil War when they made it an Avengers movie whose biggest draw was Spider-Mans return to the MCU? Did they not trust Chris Hemsworth when Ragnarok was just as much a Hulk movie as it was a Thor movie?

This clearly was always the plan for this movie because they really want to make Hulk movies, but can't, so they do this.

I wonder if Betty is going to try to cheat on her boyfriend/husband (whatever he was) again like she did several minutes after seeing Banner (lol). I lost respect for Betty. Maybe she's divorced now.

@LSHF - did she cheat? He is the one who called the government.

@TheSuperMex - She tried, but Banner's heart rate got too high.
