In 2014, Marvel Studios released Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, two movies which changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever. In the case of the former, the Russo Brothers brought a whole new style of action to the genre and put Steve Rogers on a path that is still playing out to this very day.

As you'll no doubt recall, the movie introduced us to Sam Wilson/The Falcon, a character who has since become one of Steve Rogers's closest allies and a superhero in his own right.

It's thought that he'll also star in how own series on Disney+ alongside The Winter Soldier but will he get a new look? Well, this Captain America: The Winter Soldier concept art shows just how different the character could have ended up looking on the big screen and it's fair to say that these weird wing and helmet designs are like nothing we've seen in the comics or in movies.
