Very Cool NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS Easter Egg Discovered In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
Like any good American, Chris Evans is a huge fan of the New England Patriots and it looks like he managed to sneak in a few Patriot-related Easter Eggs to Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Captain America may proudly hail from Brooklyn, but Chris Evans' heart belongs to the city of Boston.
On many occasions, Evans has shown his love for the city by supporting its various highly successful sports franchises with one team in particular getting a lot of much-deserved love recently - the New England Patriots. In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Evans expressed his admiration and desire to meet the Patriots' legendary QB Tom Brady, the man many consider to be the greatest football player to ever walk the planet, and as many of you may know, Evans was on-hand in 2015 alongside Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) to witness the Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX for their fourth world championship under the genius mind of head coach Bill Belichick.
Back to the subject on hand, an eagle-eyed reddit user recently unearthed a hidden Easter Egg from Captain America: The Winter Soldier that Evans (and/or Marvel's head honcho & fellow Boston native Kevin Feige) may have played a part in placing. During the scene where S.H.I.E.L.D. HYDRA was gearing up to eliminate any potential threats with their weaponized Helicarriers, a list of names hits the screen around the 1:53:39 mark and there are a few peculiar names that should ring a bell to anyone remotely familiar with the 2013 Patriots roster - Thomas Brody (Tom Brady), Julian Addelman (Julian Edelman), Daniel Amendan (Danny Amendola), etc. Check out the screenshot below and keep scrolling for the full list of names.

Considering the Patriots house some of the finest talent in the NFL, it's easy to see why HYDRA would've wanted them eliminated (They're probably Jets fans if we're being perfectly honest). However, it is a little odd that star TE Rob Gronkowski doesn't get a shoutout, but then again, everyone loves GRONK, maybe even HYDRA. So, what do you guys think about the Easter Egg? Do you think Evans & Feige collaborated on making it happen? Sound off with your thoughts below!
