Kevin Feige tells ScreenCrush that SpaceKnight ROM will probably never appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to licensing issues. We may seem some other SpaceKnights but not ROM specifically.
"I think there are legal issues with Rom. I think Rom is owned by a toy company or something. I think we have Spaceknights, but we don’t have Rom. I think they did some standalone Spaceknights comics at some point. ROM, I believe, was a licensed deal. Like G.I. Joe and Transformers back in the day."
Over at TV Line, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. creative team of Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen talk about the recent Agent Ward (Brett Dalton) revelations and what that means for the show moving forward. Particularly, on whether Ward is actually a "triple-agent" and is going to be revealed that he's been using the Night-Night gun and is still one of the good guys.
"May asked [Coulson], ‘What are we going to do now?’ and he says, ‘Survive”– and survival is a big part of it...Even worse for all and known to none, is the fact that Agent Ward is playing for the other side. There will be some tension to play, having this snake in the grass. You’ll learn a lot more [about Ward's] true agenda. You’ll get a glimpse of a side of Ward we didn’t know was there."
