In a recent interview with the British magazine Glamour, Chris Evans Says he might take a break from acting:

"I think when I'm done with this Marvel contract, I'll take a little break from acting, with acting, you're one piece in a very big puzzle. It's like you helped buy a gift but you don't know what the gift is, so you come back and see the movie. Sometimes it's nice, sometimes it's tragic. This process [directing], you're involved in every single decision. If I hadn't done it, I'd be really kicking myself. At the time, it was a daunting task for a number of reasons, but in hindsight it was the right move,"

He Then Talks about Captain America:The Winter solider:

"He doesn't have demons. He's not Batman, he doesn't struggle with inner turmoil. The nature of this character is that he puts himself last and helps the common good. So he could easily slip into a world of boredom, The blessing and curse of Captain America is that he doesn't have that fancy an ability. He doesn't live in another world, or turn green. He doesn't have bells and whistles, he doesn't shoot missiles. He punches and kicks."

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and the ninth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Robert Redford, and Samuel L. Jackson. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America and the Black Widow join forces to stop a covert enemy that is hiding in Washington, D.C.

Not surprised. He's done a lot of work, time for him to chill.

This also kinda means he won't return to the shield like some had hoped.

I think after Cap 2. He has 3 more movies left in his contract. So I think he'll be around for a while.

Sounds reasonable. Chris always makes out ok, but I'm definitely going to enjoy his run as Cap for the time being.

Oscars don't mean anything unless you make them mean something, Soto. It's all about favoritism and politics, has been for a long time.

I can see Chris Evans handing Cap over to someone else pretty easily. Obviously that's what he wants to do, but I'm talking about replacing the actor, finding someone who can keep to that workout regimen and give a solid performance at the same time.

Your name says it all....

The Dark World was kind of dumb, there's no way around that. I think a third movie would be rushed at this point, especially since anyone with a brain can predict what'll happen next. Put it on the backburner.

I never understood why actors do this. How hard is your life really? Be famous, look good, make a shit ton of money, get laid, and make more money.

Im only saying this, because I really like Chris. He's a good guy who keeps his head down when it comes to the lime light. Ill miss the bastard

Thor 2 wasn't garbage. It was entertaining. No more no less. I wasn't expecting a profound story arch for that movie. Those movies are what Marvel banks on to generate revenue to continue to make movies. You honestly really shouldn't expect anything truly prolific from the sequels.

Wait, Jennifer Lawrence said she wanted to take a break from acting?

Would be cool that he hands the mantle of Cap to Becky like he did in the comics. That is if Becky makes it through the Winter Soldier.

I really want to know why Cap is back in his old suit... or if this is his "new" suit. Either way its giving me a big rubbery one.

Soo he basically has a good 4 or 5 yrs left
I understand he wants to take a break..... I know his dieting and working out can be a pain to do just about every yr for these films

JoJo-

Isn't Chris a health nut though? That to me would mean you get paid to do something you are already hooked on.
