After several days of several action scenes on and around Cleveland's West Shoreway highway, filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier continued Monday in Tremont, one of the city's historic neighborhoods. With more sightings of Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie & Scarlett Johansson, set photos (courtesy of Monica, Lisa DeJong & Clint O'Connor) reveal scenes were shot in and around "Sam Wilson's apartment," and at a Pilgrim Congregational Church. Check them out below!

Via Joe and Est Quod Est, the photos below are from Friday's shoot. While Chris Evans and his stunt double were seen shooting a scene involving Steve Rogers riding a Harley on open road, and sporting his new uniform, a model of a fighter jet was apparently held against a giant green-screen.

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014. In addition to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on other iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

I guess the stars and stripes peaked in Avengers for no return. But I must say, I'm digging this look.

Hate that suit... It's just bland and ugly. I hope the Smithsonian break in rumor is true.

I really don't like the new suit. They should either go back to the Avengers or CA:TFA suit.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 6/18/2013, 1:00 AM
This suit IS plain. But that's kinda what I like about it. It's safe and non-distracting. He'll look cooler doing stuff in this suit I think.

The only for sure win is the Avenger suit with the brown gloves, boot and belt. It's a no-brainer really.

i heard that in may 6,2016 that date will be filled by Doctor Strange

I'd love to see a Doctor Strange movie. I'm pretty sure Phase 3 will be their mystical phase...in which Dr. Strange would be a perfect fit.

I like the darker suit. It still has the star and stripes, but this is NOT Avengers 2, so no need to go all red, white, and blue...now I'm turning into Dr. Seuss.

I like that the new suit has the red strip down the sides, it's actually pretty faithful to the Captain Rodgers look from the source material. I was waiting for a picture to confirm some red in there. And besides, you know for a fact that this suit is a place holder for when an enhanced version of the classic suit makes its triumphant return. I like that Marvel puts a lot of different looks on screen, it's great to keep the costumes evolving, fine tweaking. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Nolan bat films but I wished they would have kept trying with Batmans suit too...

Someone give that stunt double a sandwich. Look at him, hes making me cry. Suit looks great though, cant to see in chris evans in the suit in full res.
@jamesbrando3 i agree,i cant wait to see the scale armour suit.
@marvel54 i hope it is, it would be amazing. If the other that appeared in avengers truly is the demon Chthon which i am 100% certian he is, then shit is about to get real. Connection to wanda/ scarlet witch, high evolutionary, dr strange, and thwn there is the darkhold.

I really hope everybody gets included in Avengers 2 (IM, War Machine, Thor, Hulk, Cap, Widow, Hawk, Falcon, Max twins). Hearing that Loki wasn't in it already made me sad. They could pull it off if they split up into teams.

i like the commander rogers suit but i'm hoping that the design team has a more Captain America suit that steve gets his hands on in the film, either way i'm looking forward to this ( and Thor: The Dark World).

I'm really digging that suit, especially the helmet. We can't judge much off of a stunt guy wearing it, because we'll see him for mere seconds in the actual film...

However the moment I see Evans in that suit, all the movie magic intact I'm gonna cream...
ParisSun
ParisSun - 6/18/2013, 4:48 AM
Yeah, even looking at the picture from a distance, you can tell Chris is bigger than stunt double. I guess if you spend time learning how to be a daredevil on a motorcycle you don't have to spend much time in the gym. Should look good on screen though.

Good grief Widow is creeping into Falcons house now?! You whore.

I would hate if War Machine and Falcon are added to the Avengers. We already have a full team and their adding Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver. Better to just development and give story to the people we have. Also the next two spots need to be for Ant-man and Wasp. As far as diversity, bring on Black Panther or Luke Cage.

Its more likely QS and SW will start off as villains in Avengers 2 and it seems Falcon will be added to the team due to the new Avengers Assemble show which is based of the movie. Why else would they add him?
Presence1
Presence1 - 6/18/2013, 5:25 AM
I think the new suit is great! I like how they keep evolving it after each film Cap appears in.
ParisSun
ParisSun - 6/18/2013, 5:34 AM
Astonishing, Joss W. doesn't have to adhere to a cartoon. Part of the reasons he's bringing in SW & QS is to mix up the powers.

Falcon doesn't offer anything to the Avengers that other characters don't already bring but better. IM and Thor are better at flight. Black Widow and Hawkeye are better operatives and have ranged weapons. Cap is a better fighter. He offers nothing to the team but a black face.

The next Avengers will be Quick Silver, Scarlet Witch, Ant-man, Wasp, Black Panther and Ms. Marvel.

I have spoken. So let it be written, so let it be done.

In a few pics there is a woman near Chris Evans with brown hair in a ponytail, wearing sunglasses & a white shirt.

That is his girlfriend, the lovely actress Minka Kelly.
I think she would make a great Spider-Woman,that form fitting suit would look gooood on Minka.

Cap's new suit looks fine to me. I wonder if they're going to portray Sam Wilson via Marvel version or Ultimate Marvel version. His wings look more like the Ultimate version.
Ace101
Ace101 - 6/18/2013, 5:59 AM
@Bbman182 yea anything that will be darkhold related will be after a dr strange movie. All i was saying is that the precence of chthon in the mcu allows for such stories and character interactions to occur.

@sameole, I thought that looked like Minka Kelly. After that kissing pic went viral, I guess she thinks it's better to hang out on set. Step off Scarjo. Chris is one lucky dude. His job requires him to kiss Scarjo and his real life love is hotter.

lol @ Minka doing some territory marking. Don't let dat ScarHo steal yo' man gurl.

Trust me, I really want some more color (and vagina's) on the team but [frick] no to Falcon being an Avenger. It's awkward enough in the cartoon (which I just watched actually and isn't as bad as I thought it would be) and it'll feel forced since like ParisSun I don't feel he adds anything to the team either. I'll rather wait a few years for the awesome black heroes to show up then have a sidekick inserted just to be a token face.
