Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero blockbuster – Captain America: The Winter Soldier will launch worldwide very soon! Steve Rogers will be donning his new “Golden Age” suit to fight the powerful Winter Soldier. Hot Toys is thrilled to present the new 1/6th scale Captain America (Golden Age Version) Collectible Figure. This movie promo edition collectible figure will be available exclusively during upcoming promotion events period in different countries. Please stay tuned for updates!

The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Evans as Captain America in his “Golden Age” suit in the film. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

The face is off - which throws off the look of the whole figure. Especially considering that is the only part that they needed to get right to actually make a Captain America figure. The costume seems fairly accurate considering its pretty much the same as their figure for the first Captain America film figure - but the face is wrong and that's unacceptable on a figure at such a price.

I figured the outfit was going to resemble The First Avenger 1/6 scale. It is too close to think about spending over $200 on this one since I already have the fist one. Besides that, when Hot Toys makes the face sculpt showing teeth, it just looks way too wierd. And that face it nothing close to Chris Evans likeness. The only way I would have even thought about getting this is if they had more accessories to go with it, but not the case. Hoping and PRAYING that the Stealth outfit and The Winter Soldier scale is 100% better cause that is where my money is going. Not really impressed with this one as a collector of Captain America figures.

Judging the first 10 minutes of the film, this movie will be great. They've worked a lot on Cap's fighting style, now he acts more like a super-soldier.

If I was going to buy any of these "Master Figures", it would be the Dr. Doom one. I still haven't seen anything that tops it. Not even duck-tits, Pasto.
