After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Nice!

I really can't wait for this film.

You know...I was so pumped after that Superbowl spot that I immediately went to the studio. I had to draw Winter Soldier. I've never drawn him before but seeing him in action was just too inspiring.

My wife asked me to do Falcon too.
I think she has a thing for Anthony Mackey though. - ___ -

Here's my version of Falcon. I literally drew these that night during the Superbowl.

I have to say I definitely like the look of where this is headed. And now we know for sure Bucky has some form of the serum too.

This is an exciting time indeed, especially if you are a huge Cap fan like myself.

Come on Winter Soldier

Yeah, you'd think I'd be working professionally somewhere, hah!
I'm 'trained' to do comics. I know 'how' to do comics. I just 'don't' do comics.

The closet I've come to working at one of the 'big two' was years ago when an editor wanted me to do an issue of Deadpool. There was a team change up though, and he got switched out for another guy and the new guy brought in his own team so I didn't get it. Since then it's like breaking into Fort Knox with a hand full of test scripts! F*** it. LOL.

Now I just do this stuff for fun, or for the independent guys.

GREAT artwork... but doesn't it speak volumes how BADLY Marvel design the movie look of the Falcon??? He
just looks very.... generic.

Still, diggin' your art style, Humperdink!!

"alot of dimension" could be a play on words..since the Red Skull got sent to another dimension at the end of TFA...I think Redford is the skull myself, given this facade by Loki....

Valid criticisms but for previous movies. Which he's trying to extrapolate to this new movie by a new set of directors.
It comes off as "that guy". That's all, no biggie.

Looks can be deceiving, but I am super pumped for this one.
Mrcool210
Mrcool210 - 2/4/2014, 9:32 AM
@pedrito whether this has a new director or not is irrelevant. Marvel studios has the final say, and if they cut out a lot of interesting villain stuff in iron man 2 and thor 2 (which both had very different directors) then there is nothing stopping them from doing that here. I want to be excited for Captain America 2, i really do, but after iron man 3 (which i found mediocre) and thor 2 (which i hate with all my being) i just can't get excited for this new one. I hope the movie is good, but we will have to wait and see

Ya know, Marvel or Disney or both who put this little "behind the scenes" show together didn't take anything away or spoil the plot or anything like that. The only thing they did was show a little behind the scenes and wetted everyone's appetite for MORE. Just like ScarJo said, they are pushing the envelope with every movie. I heard that Chris Evans really pushed himself for this movie. Makes me appreciate his skills even more. Go Cap!!!
