A new TV spot and clip from The Marvels has surfaced on social media. The TV spot is of particular interest as it starts with a dire, prophetic warning from Thanos. Is Zaw Ashton's Dar-Benn the successor of the Mad Titan's legacy?

The TV spot also reveals that the bangle that Dar-Benn wields allows her to absorb the powers of Captain Marvel, Photon and Kamala Khan making the Kree villain more than a match for the incredibly powerful trio. Will Dar-Benn get her hands on the other bangle in Kamala's possession before the film ends?

In a previous issue of Total Film magazine, producer Mary Livanos explained, "In Ms. Marvel, we learned that the bangle, paired with some other form of power, can force a temporary hole in space and time to lead to somewhere else."

She continued, "With the power of both bangles, more is definitely possible. And we see the culmination of that over the course of this movie. It definitely leads to plentiful opportunities for the future of the MCU, whatever the Avengers and Secret Wars teams may want to do with them."

The brief clip picks up where Ms. Marvel's post-credit scene ended, with Danvers transported to Kamala's bedroom.  It's somewhat of a weird scene as neither Danvers nor Kamala's parents seem phased by the world's most popular and strongest Avenger suddenly walking into their living room.  Hopefully, this top-down, vertical slice is expanded upon when the film is released.

After a series of release date changes, The Marvels is currently slated to hit theaters on November 10, 2023.

The Marvels will star Brie Larson (Short Term 12, Fast X) as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris (The Photograph, Candyman) as Monica Rambeau/Photon, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, Zawe Ashton (Not Safe For Work, Nocturnal Animals) as Dar-Benn.

Also appearing in supporting roles are Gary Lewis (His Dark Materials, The Bay), Park Seo-joon (Itaewon Class, Concrete Utopia), and Samuel L. Jackson (Secret Invasion).

Teaming up changes everything everyone.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.  When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as ‘The Marvels.'

How is every positive comment from an account I’ve never heard of before? Are people doing positive trolls now?

@LiteraryJoe - if so. It'd balance things out, as Thanos intended

@AmazingFILMporg - I think it looks more fun than a lot of MCU films I can think of but people will never credit it that. I’m definitely going to see it but I’m not expecting it to be better than a six out of ten, anything over that will be a pleasant surprise. I’m just invested in the universe and the characters.

@LiteraryJoe - I've been saying from the get-go I'm looking forward to this movie and think it's going to surprise a lot of people. If I'm wrong, so be it. But at least I will go out with honor. :)

@LiteraryJoe - positive trolling? Never thought I'd see the day.

Either way though, whether it's positive or negative, I don't understand the need to troll.

Pauly Shore has a better chance of being a Thanos-level threat than [frick]ing Dar-Benn.

Anyone watch South Park:Panderverse special? Pretty funny in places the handy man jokes were OK but they didn't hold back on Disney and if you ask me, it's exactly what they've become.

@marvel72 - The three themes (Multiverse, Disney/Corporate pandering, and oncoming obsolete jobs due to AI) flowed really well and hit the nail on the head with each. The female Cartman was solid too.

Had to watch it twice.

"definitely leads to plentiful opportunities for the future of the MCU, whatever the Avengers and Secret Wars teams may want to do with them"

There was a time the Avengers had to work hard to come up with a solution.
