THE MARVELS Promo Art Offers New Look At S.A.B.E.R.'s Logo, The Villainous Dar-Benn, And More

The Marvels is a little over a month away from blasting into theaters, and you know what that means: more promo art! A huge selection of new pieces has surfaced today, highlighting everything from the sequel's leads to the villainous Dar-Benn and even a cartoonish take on Nick Fury and the Flerkens.

Up until now, we haven't really been told much about Kree leader Dar-Benn, but The Marvels director recently described the villain as "a warrior-scientist turned politician who is hellbent on saving the Kree home planet of Hala and exalting her people to their rightful place in the universe."

As for how the Kree home planet Hala has evolved since we last saw it, the filmmaker added, "In the past and in the present, I wanted to show a technological city. I just really wanted to make sure that each place had a distinct feel, like going to another country. That was really important to me in terms of the design and also in terms of color."

With the Captain Marvel follow-up rumoured to be one of the shortest MCU movies to date, we're intrigued to see whether Dar-Benn ends up being a memorable Marvel Studios villain or one of those baddies we all forget by the time the credits roll.

If nothing else, her using a bangle identical to Kamala Khan's should help further that character's story while addressing some of the mysteries from Ms. Marvel

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters on November 10.
