DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (via THR) has unveiled a first look at upcoming animated feature Catwoman: Hunted, along with the main voice cast and a tentative release date.

The anime-style adventure will see Batman's feline foe up to her old tricks as she plans to steal a priceless jewel. Unfortunately for her, the heist puts Selina in the crosshairs of a powerful consortium of villains, Interpol and Gotham's Scarlet Knight, Batwoman.

That's pretty much all we have to go on plot-wise, but Hunted has certainly assembled an impressive voice-cast.

Catwoman will be played by Elizabeth Gillies (The Black Donnellys, Victorious) with Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) taking on the role of Batwoman. They'll be joined by Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, Lauren Cohan as Julia Pennyworth, Keith David as Tobias Whale, Zehra Fazal as Talia al Ghul and Nosferata, Jonathan Frakes as King Faraday and Boss Moxie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah, Kelly Hu as Cheshire, Andrew Kishino as Mr. Yakuza and Domino 6, Eric Lopez as Domino 1, Jacqueline Obradors as La Dama, and Ron Yuan as Doctor Tzin.

Shinsuke Terasawa is directing from a script by Greg Weisman. Ethan Spaulding will produce, along with Colin A.B.V. Lewis. Sam Register executive produces.

Check out a first-look image below. Catwoman: Hunted is set for release early next year.

Gillies as Catwoman is some special casting. She’s got a great voice for Selina and someone I’ve wanted to see voice her.

@BlackBeltJones - I feel like she'd also make a great DCEU Poison Ivy, she and Margot Robbie could play off each other really well.

Judging by the voice cast, this is set in the Earth 16 continuity (Young Justice; Under The Red Hood; A Death in the Family) rather than the current DCAU-Rebirth canon.

Props for using Dr. Tzin-Tzin. And for bringing back Lauren Cohen to DC. And for reusing Zehra Fazal, so far the only race-appropriate actress to ever play Talia Al Ghul.

@ModHaterSLADE - It's funny, I just realized that with this movie, he's now voiced both of the Big Two's albino African-American mob bosses.

Greg Weisman being involved is enough for me

Welp--I'm sold. Here's hoping it leads them to try their hand at an adaptation of "Selina's Big Score", with the same animation team from "Justice League: The New Frontier".
