I love the Sale and Rocafort ones. Ivan Reis' is pretty great, too. I wish Artgerm's had just Batman, but he can't seem to resist drawing female characters on whatever he does, haha.

Is that belt on Wonder Woman for Aquaman or Amazon?

Because it would be wierd if she was wearing his belt..

Allred needs to work on his anatomy... The way Batman's foot is kicking out looks like it is already broken and at an inhumanly awkward angle!

For the past 25 years Miller has only produced shit and I don't like Andy Kubert's art and confused sense of composition.
He did not inherit his father's talent.
Cool covers but it's an easy pass.
This will be shit just like Before Watchmen.

What we need is a Man of Steel Returns. Where Clark Kent beats the utter shit of an arrogant, brooding Bruce Wayne, fighting over what it really means to be a hero and that heroics can still be light and be relevant.

I don't like comics where characters get powered down. Superman could barely take a nuke blast in this series. What crap.

I mean I'd hate to read a comic where Batman is dumb or one where Flash is slow or Aquaman needed an oxygen tank underwater. Powering down characters just really ruins things for me.

I'm not gonna lie: while I loathe this comic book, everyone associated with it, and all that it stands for...

... that Ivan Reis cover is pretty bitchin'.

(It IS kind of funny that all of these variants are plying on the nostalgia for The Dark Knight Returns, though-- rather than building up any sense of identity for this NEW book. It's almost as if this whole thing were a transparent cash-grab...)

How am I not surprised Miller continues his sexism like always. Wonder Woman is running around in a gold plate bikin. Miller is a shit writer and hasn't done one good comic since Dark Knight near 30 years ago.

@DTor91, none of the Kubert kids have their dad's talent, it's a fact which has nothing to do with respect.
They're both average comic book artists.
Adam is the better artist of the two and also a better storyteller.
Andy pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned, the fact that he taught you influences your judgment.
Or maybe, like so many others you are easily impressed by crap.

A word to the wise: These books are not for those who can only see the politically correct narrowism of today's milennials. News flash - these stories exist outside your view of how a world should be.

God, I'm so 'effin sick to death of Batman on this ultra-violence kick with blood splattering everywhere, acting like a demented construction worker on a weekend binge.
And too bad that this crap appeals to a mostly juvenille audence who gets their rocks off drawing this shit.

Go back to Batman #1. He acts quietly and speaks little. Sticks to the shadows.
And no blood to be found.

I'm loving all of them. Last one is prob my favorite but the artist is hit or miss for me. I either absolutely love it or don't like it.

And anyone talking bad about the kurberts must have not grown up reading x men and wolverine books in the 90's. For a long time kurberts, Lee and silvestri were top dogs. Amazing talent.

I do admit, kurberts and silvestri over time started fading, but I think it because of times changing and digital coloring and inking. In the 90's they were so gritty and detailed. Paved the way for a lot of the artists today. Dude on batman, cappola or something(so sorry), he reminds me of the kurberts and he is one of my favorite now.

I don't care what you guys say-- that art is beautiful. All different and all beautiful in their own place. As far as the story. . . We shall wait and she. I'm not holding my breath though
