Wish Mark Millar was doing this instead of Bendis. Same with McNiven.

Also, the cover is wrong. The claws dont come out from the middle of his fingers.

Honestly.....got quite a few of the #1 of the tie ins...so far this looks like one of the best. First book was bad ass. Loved, loved old man Logan (swear on everything I called him killing the x men AND mysterio being behind it, lol, it was very weird reading the 4th book n thinking it was pulled from my brain) and this one is following in that same bloody path. But I don't know if I like him staying in the marvel U. Putting layers on this character is just gonna take away what makes him work.

McNiven would have been better, and Millar, would like to see where they would have went since it is their world. But the artist is good. Style fits well too.

This is the only title so far worth reading. The rest of the Secret Wars has been horrible. There must have been a requirement to be tripping on acid while writing that crap.

I always had an idea for a Pym based storyline in the Old Man Logan universe. After Hank's been killed as Giant Man at Pym Falls by Ultron and its clear the supervillains are going to run the USA Janet initiates a contingency plan to shrink and entire city into a miniature size community to escape coming tyranny. Instead of ruling the world Ultron spends decades to find the miniature town due to his obsession with Janet. Wolverine gets involved somehow and has to protect the location from Ultron who wants to destroy it and possess Janet.

I am muy confused. So Logan is Mad Max now? And is this a DC crossover, because I swear that looks like the Flash from Crisis on Infinite Earths getting struck by lightning. Meh.

Okay so I'm guessing the real world returns when people start crossing the boundaries of Battleworld.

weekend at Bernies man I love that movie that Johnathan Silver thought he was Seinfield and it blew up in his face, this Battleworld crap is dumb keep the Ultimates in their universe, create new characters not crappy versions of existing characters.

This has been one of the better Secret Wars books. Of course it's only been one issue. We'll see if that continues. And I have a feeling this book is going to play out in the main title in some way. Loving the Thor police though. Looking forward to that book as well.

Come on! I love your out-there-and-a-half way of looking at things. I really do.
But born from acid?
Trying to figure that statement out mein Kopf tut weh!
The only thing harder to figure out recently was that non-sensical, ridiculous, rule breaking, time travel movie, Project Almanac!
Yeah . . . I said it!

Yeah, I see the intent now. You were not saying they were born from bile and enmity; from some gruesome stew of toxic hate. I was receiving a whole different message – "acid."
I was wrong (the 1.69 x 103 time).

"Acid" as a metaphorical medium through which Stan, Jack, Steve, Roy, and Gerry created schtuff? Oh hell yeah!
And the whole process as well. The highly touted, "Marvel Method!"

Aside: I have a friend that used to work at Marvel. He has met and hobnobbed with with the full spectrum of mad scientist creating life over there. That of course is NOT to say that DC didn't have it's own crazy geniuses. But to that point, my friend had a few conversations about those early days when it was just Stan, Jack, and Steve. He was told about how the DC set, the Bob Hanleys, Julius Schwartzs, Carmine Infantinos, and Gardner Foxes were utterly baffled by the success of Mavel. They saw the product that was produced, but just couldn't believe that the kids wanted, what THEY saw as overwrought and depressing stories. They could even consider the obvious, that the market had changed and/or Stan had changed the market.
Old man blinders. it took so long for them to wake up.
