Ordinarily I'd say no or it's too soon, but I liked Damian. It's a bad idea to bring him back, but I'd love to see him again.

Damien's NOT coming back. It's dealing with the 4 stages of grief and how they can come back to haunt you. I'm guessing that in this issue, it's Denial all over again.
MisterBabadook
MisterBabadook - 5/12/2013, 7:03 PM
Well technically Damien isn't dead cuz Nightwing and Batman are fighting his accelerated-aging clone, if I'm not mistaken.

Fantastic Batgirl cover.

and Jesus SteveRogersSon I get that it's your little schtick to hate on all things even remotely related to Morrison to the point it get's really annoying but calm the hell down. It's just a cow, it's not like it gets used a lot.

Bat-Cow.

... Bat-Cow.

I still can't believe that's a thing. Hell, it was okay for a one-off gag-- "ha ha! Get it? The brown patch over his eyes looks like a bat symbol! And the little kid likes him! Oh, that wacky Damian..."-- but... jeez, they really want to run that joke into the ground, don't they? And now the damn cow is getting a back-up story?

Grant Morrison, you are storytelling poison. The sooner DC Comics is rid of you, the better.

(Also, I'm pretty positive that whole "Damian is back from the dead already!" thing is a stupid tease. They did the same thing back when Bruce Wayne "died", remember? It sold a lot of issues, I bet, but it turned out to be nothing. And this will, too.)

Incidentally, thank God Scott Snyder and John Layman are in charge of Batman and Detective Comics now. Those two give me hope for the future.

@ TheFox.

"Grant Morrison, you are storytelling poison"

Snyder is going to go down in history like Alan Grant and Mike W. Barr did, FORGOTTEN.

GET THE [frick] OVER YOURSELVES HE'S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD.

Jesus, Give a guy a rebooted #1 and suddenly he's a god. He tells the same old stories we've heard a dozen times, only he tries to throw a horror spin on it that just falls completely flat.

Severed is the only thing by Snyder worth noting, simply because it was written to be horrifying. Everything else is complete and utter trash and if you don't agree then you really haven't read much other than Snyder if I were to assume.

Grant Morrison could write a better Batman story on his deathbed; the themes, the history-drenched storytelling frenzies and the fact that HE IS NOT AFRAID TO DO DIFFERENT THINGS make him the best.

And if you call Court of Owls 'different', take a look at "Batman: The Cult"

Pretty much the same story, different antagonist.

"Grant Morrison, you are storytelling poison"

Hmmm... Then I wonder why he's had a job the last 30 years?

Will Snyder? Nope, like I said, he'll be long forgotten.

Rant over.

Morrison's batman is too jokey...damians death issue was rushed and emotionless and every one after has been meaningless to me.
