COMICS: DC Announce Their Next Big Event - CONVERGENCE

USA Today report that Convergence will be a nine-week miniseries kicking off April 1st, and will "spill into 40 two-part miniseries in April and May featuring a variety of writers and artists examining the worlds of the DC Universe over the decades, as well as the heroes and villains contained within." The story is described as a "meta epic" by co-publisher Dan DiDio, and involves Brainiac bringing together the populations of all of the multiverse cities he's trapped over the years in an experiment to see what would happen if they were to meet each other. Out of this, a new supervillian named Telos (Greek philosophical term for "end" or "goal") will be introduced. The series is to be penned by TV producer/writer Jeff King, who'll make his comic book debut. More details at the link below.
