Bryan Hitch Teases Big Screen Adaptation Of AMERICA'S GOT POWERS

America's Got Powers seems tailor made for the big screen, especially as the Image Comics series even features the likeness of Doctor Who star David Tennant! With well-known British television host Jonathan Ross (who is also responsible for the brilliant Turf) on writing duties and superstar artist Bryan Hitch (Captain America: Reborn, The Ultimates), it really does seem like only a matter of time before it's adapted into a movie. Well, talking in the latest issue of Total Film Magazine, here's what Hitch had to say about whether or not Hollywood has shown any interest in the book.

Has there been any interest from Hollywood in your creator owned book, America's Got Powers with Jonathan Ross?

Yup, there has been and stuff is moving very nicely thank you!

The movie may end up coming out before the last issue. Haw! Someone had to make a Bryan-Hitch-is-always-late joke!

Seriously I like the series. Premise works for a movie.

Jonathan Ross is a fan of Dr Strange so I wonder if he'll be involved with the film

Where is the current issue being released?
Late books are comics worst enemy.

Sounds like a rip-off of Tiger & Bunny.

Been waiting for part 6 for months. The delays have been ridiculous. Could make a good movie though
