The art is cool, why's Thor holding an axe?

Pretty interesting idea, but should there be a mind wipe so Thor doesn't completely know the future?

This scene takes place pretty far in the past. Thor does not have mjollnir yet as he is younger.

Read the inscription on the mjollnir . He wasn't worthy. jeez he wasn't born with it in his hands.

Don't like the way Apocalypse looks on the cover, but how he's drawn in the book itself is ok.

Not really a fan of Acuna but I'm ready to get my hands on this issue.

@riddlemethis09
In previous books, there has been mention of Thor's lack of memory being contributed to living so long and doing so much in his life that it all becomes a blur when it comes to the past.

Like the art, dislike the book thus far. This is looking better, but maybe thats just because I've enjoyed the most recent Thor series (which this book is using as the basis of this previous version of Thor for those unaware).

didn't think much of this title when it first came out but as this title has progress its got quite interesting.

issue 5 was fantastic, can't wait to read the rest of this story.

as intruder said this is a young thor he wouldn't stand a chance against apocalypse.

you guys need to read thor god of thunder the story is set over three different timelines featuring three different thor's against gorr the god butcher.

I never really knew how powerful Apocalypse was.
Didn't know he can stand up to Thor let alone womp on him.
Then again this is young Thor... Can Thor with mjolnir beat him?

1013 A.D. Thor the god of thunder with a HAMMER, had been worshiped for hundreds of years...

But yea, it's the comic book version :)
This looks really good!

Young Thor was brash, arrogant, overconfident in his strength and would not have been able to handle Apocalypse. Modern Thor, Mjolnir in hand, and more experienced is another story, however.

Lord Loki has spoken

Thor would curbstomp Apocalypse. Wasn't the hammer-wielding Thor worshipped in the 11th century?

I suppose this is one of the Apocalypse twins that showed in the last issue. Business is finally picking up for The Avengers Unification Team!

What ever happened to him? He died. Then Archangel took his place. Then AoA Wolverine took Archangel's place.

Do the people at Marvel, just forget all the history of The Mighty Thor or is this some sort of stupid joke?

Thor, has beaten an Celestial, when did Apocalypse, even register on that scale? next thing they will be saying he can take on Galactis.

Archangel, can beat Apocalypse for crying out loud.

Just like the stupid Romulus story line, I plan to cease buying any more marvel comics, they have lost the plot.
