And that's the look they went for? I still say this costume belongs in the New DCU.

Concept Art D is pretty much the best of the bunch for me.

1st there going to have her go EMO and then a year down the line she will come out of the closet as a butch/ lesbian. Next thing you know Cap, Wolvie and Tony Stark will start a 3 way gay love triangle and MARVEL will finally solidify themselves as a truelly respectible, progressive and literary/ artistic (lord my spelling sucks today) company.

Is she lesbian or something? Would not be surprised with all X-men and Green lantern issues

I prefer women with feminine hairstyles also, its a pity they went with this 80's punk look.

That gif is funny, especially when on closer inspection I realised that it is a wig she has on. LOL.

“Well, that's because she's a guy”

LOL, I love that commercial

Couldn't Marvel just came up with an ORIGINAL character to have as their "main" superheroine?smh Anyway, I'll check out the first issue.

I liked all of those concepts a lot more than the final decision. Especially 1,3 and 5 in the first picture. They should have went with one of those. Oh well.

Also, I agree with Marvel87. They should have just made a new character altogether instead of ruining Ms. Marvel. But again, oh well.

people wouldn't be bitching if her boobs and ass were hanging out. I like it. In what universe would a woman think "hmm bank robbers, better put on my bikini!" hell no!

the costume is awesome, it pays homage to the original Captain Marvel while giving her spin on it.

The haircut does suck though. Makes her look like an Ed Hardy wearing douche bag.

So.....is she getting new powers? Or is she just changing her name to honor Mar-Vell?

Or is she a lesbian now?

I have no love for this new costume and the concepts aren't much better, but if I were just making an updated Ms. Marvel costume then B would have been it. I like D as the Captain Marvel costume more than the one they settled on. Whatever, it's not like i'm not going to read it anyway.

There's nothing wrong with the costume or the hair. I'm sure the people complaining don't even read the comics. She's paying homage to Mar Vell after he sacrificed himself in A vs. X. Bunch of cry babies. They should change the name of the site from Comic Book Movie to Cry Babies since that's people do here.

The costume is fine, my only problem is the hair and lack of a mask. I liked the hair and mask, and if they were there I would almost like this better than her last one, since there isn't so much exposed skin, which makes more sense when her job is to fight people

The costume is okay (and film adaptation friendly) which I am sure was one of the objectives.

I do not like it. I am usually very open minded. I like the concept art for the hair, but it looks awful when finished. Shave the sides completely or just don't do it at all. And the costume is terrible, no need for the belt now that it is a full body costume, but still they keep it, and it's horribly unoriginal and it has ugly buttons.

She is pretty weird looking, though.

i like the B design, but change the logo to the classic Cap'n Marvel 'star' logo instead and lose the red sashes. and they don't need to PUNK her hair.

Fail. She's still Ms. Marvel no matter what they call her or how terribly they dress her up. You can't polish a turd.
