If you were wondering which of today's new comic releases pick up this one has to make the list. Issue #44 of Astonishing X-Men begins a new storyline which is being hailed as "the biggest, most exciting X-Men story in years". We'l see about that, but that cover image immediately grabs my attention anyway. Here is the preview..













GREG PAK (WORLD WAR HULK) and MIKE MCKONE (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) are here to put the ASTONISHING back in the X-Men. Storm needs Cyclops’ help with a special mission, but it ends up being much more than they bargained for. Oh, and they kiss. WHAT!?!? The biggest, most exciting X-Men story in years starts here!

Why would Storm be kissing Cyke when she used to have a thing for Cable seriously this makes no sense, her frickin hair makes even less sense it is quite horrible.Idk about the art in most Marvel books, wdf happened after i stopped reading in 2002 geez the art in the 90's compared to now is vastly superior, the new art is just uber cleaned up and polished outside of that the artist suck

Cyclops just keeps getting cooler with each issue. The way I see it, Scott is a grown up character for grown up readers. Love to see him make tough decisions, being a leader calls for that, it's not about being popular but choosing what's right for the ones under your command.

Now, Cyke and Storm? Sure, why not? Although I bet it'll be just a little flirt.
