This storyline has been going on way too long. Just end it already. Same with the current Thor story.

A character we never expected.....Steve's Mom? Peggy Carter?

We knew things were going to be bad with this storyline when Rememder gave an interview where he was praising Jack Kirby's run on "Captain America" from the 70's. That's when we all learned just how much of a contribution to the writing Stan Lee must have had in the 60's, because Jack's writing hurt my eyes.

I hope the get rid of Romita after this arc is done.

I have not like this arc overall. I like the thought of steve having a kid as it were though. So hopefully that is still part of the story in the future. Also this kind of art sucks.

Ugh. What happened to Romita Jr? In the 80s he was really good with Amazing Spider-man. Now, I [frick]ing hate his work. In my opinion, Kick-Ass was the only book that his shitty, blocky art style worked in

My delicate eyes have not been able to handle Steve looking like a dumpster hobo. For the love of all things sexy please end this.

I have no idea why anyone can't like this. It's a great story of Cap's struggle for what he believes in. It's fantastic!

I guess we've just been spoiled by just how good Brubaker's run actually was. This is... well, frankly it's awful. Everything from the art to the dialogue to the overall concept is just poor quality. Maybe I'll come back to reading Cap when they revamp it back to something better.

Does anybody know any other books the colorist is working on right now? I really like the coloring but I'm not at all taken with Romita's pencils.

I don't mind the writing. It's just... reading the synopsis for this thing, it sounds ridiculous even by comic book standards. I just can't do it.

Throughout this series Captain Americas shield exhibited a newly developed power.

It can grow or shrink depending on what the script calls for.

This run with JR Jr. is pathetic. Winter Soldier is in the toilet. Holding out hope for the movie, as the comics are seriously lacking in talent...

Some of you guys just don't know how to have any fun!

Jack Kirby's writing has never ever hurt my eyes, who would know better than jack how Captain America would talk?

I absolutely love John Romita Jr's artwork,!

That boy doesn't looks 12. He looks 6. And did Steve really not change his clothes for 12 years? He washes it at least once a week right?

This book is such shit.

I love Cap and I want to love anything with Cap I really do, but after the third or fourth issue of this complete garbage I just couldent do that to myself anymore anymore

I couldnt bring myself to continue picking this book up. As soon as this arc is over I'm going to jump back on and hopefully it will be good.

I just cant stand this story and JRJrs art. Plus its really confusing to have Cap stranded here for 10 yrs or so while he's constantly showing up in other books.
GLprime2814
GLprime2814 - 6/22/2013, 8:02 PM
I hate to say it but this has been the worst series in the NOW! releases I mean its just pointless, it's another time travel story in another dimension caps been gone for 7 years(Going by IAN'S age7-10) and no other book has mentioned or hinted to that.
Unless it ends with cap returning 2sec after he leaves, but giving him a child to care for since it was a new born and have it no mention of it.
And JRJR art is slacking.
