Isn't the Ultimate Universe and Elseworld sorta universe??? It's not hte main continuity.

Anyways, I dig Miles. Funny to sse him figuring out his limits.

I'm a HUGE Ultimates fan. Although I do have preference to the Peter over Miles this book has still been well written and the artwork is outstanding.

I never rush to buy it though.

So...I like what I've seen so far. The tie-in with The Prowler is a nice touch. What exactly are Miles' powers so far, tho? Spider-Sting, Invisibility, and Adhesion? What else?

Costume rocks, btw.

Not hating, but Spider-Man is a guy called peter parker. They should call this something else like "Emotionally Weird Spider Lad".

@Greengo so far, no. Don't see why Fury can't hook him up with some web shooters, or why Miles can't find out he has organic web...

@MarkV yeah, so wrong of Marvel to use the Ultimate universe exactly for what it was created, take characters in different directions.

i hate the idea of Peter Parker not being Spider-Man... but from this preview, Miles Morales looks like an interesting character, and I do love his costume.

Hell, as long as he doesn't become Spidey in the 616 universe or the movies, I don't care. In fact, they could introduce him in 616 as a new Spider-themed hero. And he could always have guest appearances in whatever animated series comes next.

Urghh so how many issues until Peter Parker is back?

Guarantee the Peter Parker Scorpion clone will turn out to be cured and he will take over as Parker.... or Parker never died..... clear up just like Bucky in the 616 uni

I had my doubts about Miles in the beginning, but i have to say that I find him interesting and the new suit to be really cool. It has a nice "stealth" feeling to it.

Shure, I miss god old Pete, if he returns I'm happy but if he doesn't... I'm kind of cool with that to.. Can't mourn forever.

Want to se Miles beat some more super-villain ass though!

@FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey, I believe Picheli will be back to do the art for issue #8 and onward. For some reason they had another artist do #6 and #7.


One of my favorites right. They have a lot they can do with this Spider-Man, hopefully it'll come to fruition.
