Thor vs The Punisher should be a good battle! But at the end of the day, Thor will come out on top.

Wow. Even with a gun to take out the Hulk Frank is going to have a hard time with this one. In fact he doesn't even stand pretty much a chance. Seriously if Thor even touches him with that hammer he's done for. Heh. Even Thor without his hammer or anything Frank would be a goner. Sorry Frank.

@marvel72 With all do respect Batman has fought Superman several times and literally every issue I've read where this happens Batman wins (of course I haven't read ALL the issues. Batman and Superman have been around for over 70 years, I'm sure they've fought a LOT)

Except the one time where Superman wasn't just standing there, he put Batman near death with his fingerprint as a stamp.

I'm sorry, but Frank isn't winning this one. Not unless he has a weapon that can take down a God...it would take a tactical nuke to even hurt him and I'm not sure that even that would stop Thor, and Frank damn sure isn't going to beat him hand to hand..Thor wins

oh, and there is no way that Batman would ever beat Superman without Kryptonite...people really don't realize just how powerful Kal really is...if he concentrates he can hear someone talking on the other side of the planet, so you're NOT sneaking up on him..he can see in several light spectrums so he WILL see you coming..he can move at speeds much faster than the speed of light by sheer force of will, so nothing Batman could ever shoot, or throw at him would ever get near him let alone hit him...I know that in the comics, Batman has beaten him, but let's be realistic, it was only because the writers wanted Bats to win...if we applied reality to his..meaning that if we were to actually put these two against eachother in the real world with each character having all of the powers and or resources that they have in the comics...there is NO WAY Batman would be able to beat Superman...not without Kryptonite and even then, it would be nearly impossible for someone to get it near him...just my two cents

@Weaponx2 not sure why superman vs batman was brought up but I agree. Superman is for all intensive purposes a godlike being and bats is just really good at his job. The real fight however would be supes vs Thor. I think it's a 'more' even fight but my money is still on Thor.

Yoou guys must not read The Punisher either. Smh! Its a really great book, the worst part about it is that their ending Rucka's run so Castle can be in the Thunderbolts. The Avengers are after the Punisher because they believe he's been on a killing spree after he and Cole was framed for killing a buncha cops and bystanders. They believe its time for them to intervene and its no longer a NYPD issue but rather an Avengers issue. Phucking great book, yo.

The Punisher is now and always be an awesome character.

But this match up is a joke. What secret weapon could he ever possibly employ that would even help him survive a few seconds against Thor, let alone kill him? The Ultimate Nullifier? Gunganir?

@ Deadpool17: agreed. But we probably have the minority opinion on that.

In that What If? issue where Punisher killed the Marvel U, he just waited until he turned into Don Blake and blew him away. Easy. i don't even know if Thor still does that, but that's the only way i can think of that Frank could do it.

Thor doesn't turn into Don Blake but do any of you really believe Thor would really kill Frank? Well, I say thee nay. Not his style, subdue yes, but kill? Never.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, I think we're overlooking the obvious question: why does Thor need punishment?

@ThePowerCosmic: You missed Heroes Reborn, didn't you?

All you morons who think The Punisher does not have a shot at battling Thor need to wake the f--k up & realize its a comic book & ANYTHING is possible.

In the Marvel Universe your only limited by your imagination..wait to read the story & see what the creative team had delivered.

Go Frank!

Unless Frank Castle has been selected as the new Herald for Galactus, he's going to get seven shades of shit beaten out of him. Punisher's really going to be walking funny with that hammer shoved up his ass.

Lord Loki has spoken

The most prominent Avengers, the Dark Avengers, Red Hood and his high tier villains, and the whole of Asgard barely scraped through against the Sentry. Oh yeah and they crashed a helicarrier on top of him after trying to weaken him a bit with stones that grant near omnipotent power.

But yeah its a good reference point as long as I established the point that he "survived", even though the words "a fight" directly follows it.

The only way Frank wins this is if Loki thought it would be amusing to help him against Thor....
