Squirrel Girl's face is absolutely awful. That being said, it is great to see some variation in the female body presented in comics. She's thick.

Looks like they made Squirrel Girl go full retard in the face and full hibernation in the ass.

Aw, come on guys, it's a parody sue, she's not meant to be taken seriously, she's there with the likes of Lobo, only funnier by the few things I've read of her.

Love the art-style of the last two pages, I'm glad to see this kind of art-style in superhero comics. Hope we'll see more of that in the future

So.. where does the tail go when she is in normal clothing? Or is that a question we do not need the answer for? Bet there is a whole section on diviantart about that..

Nomis: Sadly, in this day and age we CAN compare this kiddy crap with Lobo, the non smoking emo retard with glowing fingerpaint in his clean shaved pretty boy face.

Hm. I think I like it. They're at least moving away from trying to turn her into a model.

I hate this art. I dare to say I like Liefeld's pouch fetish more than this art. It bugs me that in the 90s, they told McFarlane to go [frick] himself REPEATEDLY yet somehow they accept this stuff now adays. *shudder* What happened?

@Nomis Wow! That's pretty dark! Themes like that don't seem to get tackled these days.

Ok marvel you're [frick]ing this up. Seriously, squirrel girls tail doesn't disappear and she doesn't hide it when not in costume. Boo. I thought they were maturing the character when they implied wolvie had a pedo relationship with her.

@Nomis: the only time I liked Lobo was when was written by Grant Morrison, and yes, they are both joke characters the difference is that Lobo has a lot of misaimed fandom.

Lobo is a parody of the "cool '90s anti hero" and Squirrel Girl is a Mary Sue parody, but while the humor with Lobo tends to get a bit too much (like Duke Nukem it sometimes skirts and sometimes crosses the line into bad taste) and its ore bound to the time he was invented I much prefer the more meta and lighthearted Squirrel Girl which also makes fun of a more "timeless" metafictional element.

Hate the art, glad Marvel's at least giving other characters a go though.
