Bleeding Cool has received word that Marvel will continute to capitalise on the success of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, with the film's co-writer Nicole Perlman set to work on a Gamora comic book. It will be the fifth GOTG title to be on shelves, with Guardians 3000Legendary Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon launching in recent months alongside the ongoing main series. The source reports that Perlman was the one who first began developing the Guardians as a cinematic property, and "now she’s writing one of the comics that first inspired her." Expect an official announcement before New York Comic-Con (which is just over a week away). Well, until then, are you excited to see a Gamora solo series?

Gamora was by far the dullest character in the movie. Stone cold killer is really just a lonely little girl? Maybe she had more dimensions in Perlman's draft.

That's pretty cool. I'll have to wait and see if it's any good before picking it up. Tight budget.
Nice find, puffed!

Legendary Star-Lord is a good series, Guardians of the Galaxy is a good series and Rocket Raccoon has a good story but I'm not a fan of childish art work. I would prefer that book to be drawn like he is in the regular guardians comic. I picked up Guardians 3000 today and will read it soon. I've got hopes for the gamora series.
