Salvador Larroca's cover for Invincible Iron Man #519 once again teases the appearance of a new Iron Man after Tony Stark apparently decides to give up his heroic duties following the events of the "Demon" story arc.

Who is the new Iron Man? What can their new suit do? And what will happen to Tony Stark? All these answers and more beginning this May in "Long Way Down," a new story arc in INVINCIBLE IRON MAN from the Eisner-award winning creative team of Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca!




So, who do you think is the new Iron Man? Marvel aren't exactly releasing a lot of clues, but we'll be sure to keep you updated as the publisher continues to tease this next big storyline in the pages of Invincible Iron Man.

The thing I hate when they replace the person behind the costume is that it takes a lot away from the central character. It almost makes out that anyone can be Iron Man, Batman, Spider-man etc, but the reasons these characters have gone that extra mile is because what drove them to become heroes in the first place, just saying all you need to be Iron Man or Batman is to wear the suit, to be Spider-Man just need spider powers. It isn't as simple as that, it is their victories, tragedies and relationships that defined them, made them who they are, so there are 1 or 2 exceptions, but personally think it is always a bad move to replace the core character.
