AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1
Written by DAN SLOTT
Pencils & Cover by HUMBERTO RAMOS

According to Newsarama, Dan Slott and Christos Gage will co-write two shorter stories, one with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli and one with art by Javier Rodriguez. These will both focus on the villains who will be the main focus of the series moving forwards. One of them will presumably be Morlun based on artwork we've seen promoting the upcoming Spider-Verse event. Meanwhile, there will also be a standalone tale from Joe Caramagna and Chris Eliopoulos, along with a prelude from Slott and Ramon Perez for May's Amazing Spider-Man Year One: Learning to Crawl. Finally Peter David and Will Sliney will team for a Spider-Man 2099 preview and Chris Yost and David Baldeon will add a Scarlet Spider story, perhaps giving us an idea of his status quo moving forwards.

Grif, If all you're comfortable with is the old status quo, why don't you just go back and read the old comics again. It's essentially what you're asking for anyway.

MAN I have a lot of catching up to do. Like I hope they do a huge trade or at least 2 larger ones to collect everything like Spider Island or what Marvel did with the last major Ghost Rider run. Can't wait to see what's in store.
@ MarvelSquadie - I was thinking something like that too. He could come back as more of a vigilante. Be the new Tarantula give him some robo spider arms.

"Letting Slott write this was a mistake on Marvel's part. They guy has overstayed his welcome years ago."

LOL. Sales and common sense, as well as an understanding of good writing, would support otherwise.

Just because you don't like what happens to a character, doesn't mean the writer is bad.

Are you an investor? Because otherwise I don't know why you'd care about sales. And good writing? Trying to have some crazy twist every few issues like Slott does is not good writing, it's lazy.

How long do think its gonna be before they revert to original numbering? #750? #800?

Better.
That last cover was a lil' goofy. Here's hoping TASM returns to its former glory, of the pre-Superior days.

Seriously, it was REALLY good before Superior happened.

Issue #30 of Superior was great in my opinion. The only I think is out of place are the weird villain controlled Spider-Slayers.
