taking away his spidey-sense was definitely a good idea - makes the character have to compensate with this awesomeness (even if it is called the way of the spider...)

Have not been digging the art on Spider-Man, and only half-interested in the Spider-Island story so far, just reading incase something happens. I really want to see Venom go up against anti-venom.

Carlie comes off as an annoying noob here. I miss MJ. She would never have been so noobish. I hope MJ comes away from this event with spider powers. Just for a little while. It would be so cool. She could be the new Arachne.

MJ is better. WAY more likable. Carlie is kind of annoying. Also, does Peter have his spider sense back yet? And I liked it better when spider-man had his own fighting style, rather than kung fu. But I guess it's kind of cool.
