COMICS: Preview Of AvX #3 Sees Cap And Wolverine Come To Blows

Yeah the punch felt very sudden.

The series is pretty good so far. Not near as memorable as Civil War, but it's rather fun. Art needs a lot of work though.

Sudden? Try completely out of nowhere.

Wow this whole storyline is turning into a avengers bad x-men good type story, and now Cap one of the most noble characters in the marvel u the guy even gods will cede too pearl harbors an allie?? Marvel just keeps falling deeper and deeper into a hole

Uggghh. seems to just be getting worse and worse. if this doesnt get any better i wont be giving marvel any more of my money for these big cross over events.

Wolverine's gonna teach Cap to respect his elders

This is completely out of character for Cap. This entire run is predicated on one well known Marvel character fighting another over a (let's face it) a flimsy plot. Here's the formula:

1) "Phoenix Force, Phoenix Force, blah blah blah"
2) "What? You bastard!"
3) -Commence fight-

How long will it be before Spider-Woman and Spider-Man fight? They will, at Latveria most likely before or after they fight Dr. Doom.

The marketing campaign should have been:

"AvX: Everyone will fight everyone else! It will be the Civil War times one thousand infinity!(please buy our books, we're running out of ideas fast like Fox)."

somehow I have the feeling wolverine is gonna end up fighting for both sides. The artwork isn't fantastic either

This is just bad writing, Capt. America more than anybody should know you can't take out with a punch. It makes no sense to incite Logan in such a small area as a quintet. I haven't read the comics (or any for that matter in the past few years because I thought the story sucked, I see that hasn't changed) but I can imagine the other AvsX are just as forced. People or should I say heroes that have worked together so long would never act this way. They would no tendencies and understand they need to talk things through. In the old days the writer would've came up with something unique because the heroes to fight each other.

A shame what's happened the comics. The writing sucks, art stinks, and you have to pay through the nose. Thank God I was born in a different era otherwise I never would've enjoyed the day when quality ruled. My sympathies go out to you young guys. My advice to you is invest in the back issues, until the quality improves. Well, at least we have the movies to look forward to.

I mean really, this is the best Marvel can do for a big event? I've seen some pretty piss poor scripting before, but this is just flat out stupid and ridiculous.

He did say "Damn it I didnt want it to come to this." so even Cap didnt appreciate what he was going to do. But someone that cant be reasoned with with words has to be punched. Cap doesnt slap.
