Dc gets jealous of the Avengers and in a desperate move, launches "Flashpoint". duh, there´s no need for Marvel to do a "Flashpoint".

Just make a bloody comic line based on the movie universe, just like Star Wars comics and go from there.

"the biggest change to the Marvel Universe in over 35 years"

What happened back in 1976, or before? Marvel didn't have "big events" back then.

I certainly hope they're trying to reboot it... but I hope that they don't go with this kind of art for the reboot... needs to be more like the DC New 52 art... but if the MU is being rebooted count me in! It's better than having the lame stories they have been mostly putting out lately... lol... hopefully... :P

Isn't the movie universe derived more from the Marvel Ultimate line?

I got the answer, guys. Jsut over 35 years ago a certain mutant entered the comic book scene and completely changed the industry for Marvel. He has been on almost every team for the last year or two, yet he seems to be missing from any of this artwork. He is nowhere to be found on ANY of this.

That's right, Wolverine first appeared over 35 years ago in 1974 and he is NOWHERE to be found on any of this stuff, bub!

I just started reading comics again and I really love it. Just from the artwork I think marvel will mess it up. Just becuase DC did a reboot doesn't mean they have to as well

DC are failing at taking advantage of their "reboot". The new 52 sucks. It's very badly executed. But it is needed and i feel Marvel could benefit from a well written reboot as well. I just want change to be permanent. Pass the torch, don't recycle.

plasticman - 11/3/2011, 12:29 PM
Mark my words, this won't sell without the ol' canuckle head. It looks like this story will center around the early years of the teams and characters that we see now. This teaser makes me think of Marvels right away.

Where the *%$^# does it say they are rebooting the Universe????

All this preview shows is that some characters are going to take a peek into The Watcher's archives of alternate universes.

Shaman

knossis- Yeah, both companies have a really bad habit of putting the wrong people in power positions. Lee and Liefeld in charge of a Marvel Reboot? That's suicide. If done right, and well thought out, a reboot/universe altering event that changes everything for the better, could be very well worth it. But change must be permanent or else it's just a gimmick that's not fixing anything. Kinda like putting duct-tape over a crack, and then removing it to put on a fresh stripe when the old one doesn't stick as well anymore. It's pointless, just like the new 52.
