Well at least we know he isn't the real Nova's son I would not be happy about that how about we finally bring back Richard Ryder and have a real Nova have his own comic again.

Jeph Loeb has the timeline all wrong in this book. Did anyone read issue 1? This issue begins 17 years in the past, with Sam's dad in his Nova uniform and being sent on a mission to rescue Gamora and Rocket.

Now, the current incarnation of the Guardians only really came together during Annihilation around 2006/2007, and didn't actually form the team until 2008. I don't care how much you stretch comic book time, those characters haven't been together for 17 years. Hell, modern Marvel continuity isn't even 17 years long. I'll give them 12, at the most, since Peter Parker became Spider-Man. No way the Guardians have a 17 year history together.

I'll be picking this up, the first issue was interesting.

Waaaaay better than that Superior Spider-Sh*t Marvel is trying to force on us....
