pls don't kill or turn Hank Pym into a villain. Or at least make a good story out of it. But after 8 years of Avengers ( when nobody cared about them)...In Bendis We Trust

No not an alt universe. I already can tell though, that this is going to have to re-set some stuff, to at least what it was pre this story.

can the end of Age of Ultron reset Starlord to him wearing his normal helmet? :P

But honestly I think this will not be a reboot but a "retooling" of the 616...

I am very...very..skeptical on how this can turn out.. but oh well, thats comic books for ya...

This is why I stay away from event comics. Shock value over storytelling. Pointlessly killing off characters for little reason and altering the universe temporarily.

What I dont get is... is this comic supposed to be in the mainstream continuity, or it's an alternate universe or something? Cause, with the first issue taking place "in the future"... well, it doesn't fit anywhere among the other current Marvel comics

They say this took place during The Heroic Era... which makes no sense to me at all for them to be putting it out now. I have the 2nd book prepped to read but the first book left me confused like how tf did the story even get there in the first place. The continuity is all kind of f'ed up

Franshu, as I stated earlier, this is not an alt universe. Bendis/Marvel have done interviews stating so. Also, the first issue is NOT set "in the future". It says on the first page of actual story it is the present day.

I'm pretty sure this is being used to reset some stuff, but that's me.

Nothing will ever be the same. It's all been leading up to this. For reasons we can't get into, the stories we'll be telling in the Marvel Universe will be different as a result of this event. Noone is safe. This story is that big. There. I just summed up the next several week's worth of interviews.

Guess I shouldn't mock the party line too much though. I am actually reading this afterall.

@CubanRaftRider...that's silly. To stab the heart, you gotta get through a lot of flesh. And it all bleeds. The heart is a pump; if you puncture it, it keeps pumping through the new holes. If you die, the heart stops, but the freshly stabbed flesh still pours, hence, bleeding.

Freshly killed bodies do it all: bleed, fart, burp, poop, pee, and under enough pressure, cough.

WOLVERINE, however has been stabbed everywhere. And that wouldn't kill him at all.

Wolverine dying... God Marvel sucks now. I just cant stand it.

They should be rebooting the companies editorial team instead.

Oh my God. I understand EVERYTHING now. Age of Ultron is the reason why Star-Lord lost his helmet!!!!!!

Stay with me. Wolverine and Sue Storm are going back in time to erase Ultron from existence. Without Ultron Annihilation Conquest - an event that assembled Guardians together - never happens. Thank's to that Bendis (who writes both series) can tinker with GOTG however he likes. It's his master plan. Bendis. Bendis. BEEEEENDIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that first cover suppous to be Wolverine killing Hugh Jackman or what?

From my understanding of Wolverine, he cannot die that way, in fact wolverine cannot really die just like the Hulk.

Isn't that 616 universe wolverine killing ultimate wolverine?

WTF? Are they going to go back in time to kill Pym? One of those pictures is of Pym wearing his Goliath costume, attaching Ultron's head to his body. ...then you have Wolverine in his old costume. Maybe this is reboot...but I personally doubt it.
