As we revealed earlier today, a member of 'The Ultimates' will become President of the United States. We won't spoil who that is for you in this teaser, but hit the jump to see him being sworn in as the Commander in Chief. "America is my White House."

Funny thing is, I would rather have a fictional character in the White House than Obama! lol So much more would get done, and we wouldn't have to worry about Cap selling our country up the river!

In the swearing-in panel, Hawkeye looks a lot like Wonder Man. And Spider-Woman's hair is the wrong color.

Also, WTF?!?!?

I can't wait to see how this is going to backfire horribly (in the story). After all, we all know that Captain America's foreign policy is to punch people in the face, so whenever things get back to normal in the Ultimate Universe, something tells me the German ambassador is going to lose some teeth.

"America is my White House." Cute.

@Equinox: I think that was metaphorical. His attitude in Ultimate Avengers was not one of a wholly stable individual so I think it meant he was broken mentally by Greg and turned into a killing machine.

Why does Thor still have the Bloodaxe or whatever you call it instead of Mjolnir?
Ha1frican

It would have been a great line if he had said " I Captain America" then took of his mask "Steve Rogers do solemly swear..." IMO but that last line was so cheeseballs

Very intresting storyline. I like that Steve Rogers is going to become The President of the U.S.A. As long as Steve get's to kick some ass in the process, that would be even better.

Meh. I don't care anymore. I'm done with Marvel until Marvel now! and I pray by then Marvel will be done with this whole 'A MAJOR THING THAT DRASTICALLY CHANGES A CHARACTER OR CHARACTERS MUST HAPPEN EVERY WEEK' thing.

Marvel please just go back to making the best comics on Earth again and stop worrying so much about being edgy and selling mags.

I laughed at the spoiler warning in the title, I looked at the picture first and thought why was Captain America's glove in the picture. Then I read the headline.

I would vote for Captain America as president in heart beat. Man, I'm not excited about the upcoming election at all.

Either we get Obama in a second term(slow progress on turning the economy around) or Mitt Romney who outsources American jobs and made inappropriate comments about Obama's campaign funds.

I almost don't feel like even bothering to vote.

@Equinox WTF? The Blob eats Wasp? Sometimes I'm glad I don't follow Ultimate Comics. Other than Ultimate Spider-Man and the animated movies, I'm not really a big fan.

@SteveRogersSon
Kind of naive and cynical to make such a blanket statement. If you truly think the suits in charge care about anyone but themselves, maybe its time to go outside and take a look at real life for awhile.
