COMICS: "Superior No More" - Solicits For SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #9 & #10

The covers and solicitations for the ninth and tenth issues of Superior Spider-Man have hit, and they tease some major upheavals to come! Including something that will "get you angrier than you were after Spidey #700", and the return of The Green Goblin..

No pics of Gobby just yet I'm afraid, but as you can see from the following solicits, he's definitely returning. Can we also look forward to a final battle between Peter and Ock for the body of Spider-Man? Certainly sounds that way. Check out the covers and details and then sound off with what you think will happen below.

IT ENDS HERE! “SUPERIOR NO MORE!”
• The hottest comic in comics comes to a turning point that will get you angrier than you were after Spidey #700!
• The time has come to see who will live, who will die, and who will emerge as the one, true Superior Spider-Man!

IT BEGINS HERE!!
• A perfect jumping on point as The Green Goblin returns…and Spider-Man is nowhere to be found!

Peter will come back just in time for TASM 2, with an all new shiny number 1.

What did that idiot Stephen Wacker say? "Peter Parker fans will fade over time." If that's the case, then why is he still around?

I can see why people think Marvel hates Spider-Man.

That Rivera cover is quite awesome....

EVERYTHING ELSE...is pure sh!t.

Pure. Sh!t.

Despite how well Waid wrote DD's interaction with Spidey-Ock....as a retailer I simply DO NOT know how to confidently push this (steaming pile of pure. sh!t.)storyline

Oh well...maybe Gobby will kill EVERYONE and save the day lol

Sigh....what is this...the DC's 52????
Where you change or cancel titles we care about and invest in either mentally or monetarily......
Just stick to a story for a while....forget the Gross returns.....or go read Kirkman's INVINCIBLE!!!!

@LEVITIKUZ Wow, is there any need to call someone a fat bastard because they write something you don't like over a fictional character?

Well that was damn quick....

Doc Ock will be transferred into some sort of machine and Peter will be back in-time to be raped by another writer.

Waid's Daredevil issue with Superior Spider-Man was the only time I actually enjoyed him. The reason he doesn't work in the main book is because Dan Slott is not a good writer. His stories are contrived and his dialogue is cheesy. Superior Spider-Man talks like he has a thesaurus with him on standby in case he has to monologue.

@papacoe80 --- AMEN Brother...INVINCIBLE is almost as good as a superhero comic can get. Except the fact that even the great "uber-creative" Kirkman went the "death-via-clone" direction :/

Ryan Stegman does the art for issue 9 but he's doing the variant cover for it? Whaaaaaaaaaa?

I genuinely don't see why everyone is so pissed at this. Slott has tried something new and injected life into the franchise. And if you think that Spider-Ock will stick around then you obviously don't understand how comics work.
Give this story a chance, it's a damn good read.

slott and marvel are trolling mother[frick]ers at this point. but fanboys keep complaining while buying shitty comics hoping to make a mirrion dorrars of them in the future.
