I'm guessing Johnny especially with the whole "Spidey consoling Franklin" thing. The whole 40 pgs will be about how Spidey can relate that they've both lost an uncle.

Just finished the Fantastic Four movies again and I gotta say they weren't that bad. In fact they were actually pretty good. I mean when are we gonna actually see a real live film version of Silver Surfer on screen again. He was awesome. The comic's been ok these past couple of years which is why i think they're doing this ; they're trying to shake things up and get people interested in the book again.

How about they bring back DD before they go killing off someone else.. I don't like the FF, but do they really feel the need to shock us with a new departure every few months?

This is the last "FANTASTIC FOUR" issue, remember one of them does die. So it will most likely be the last time we see the four of them as a team before its "The Terrific Three." Bye Bye Johnny.

I believe it will be Johnny he has the least effect on the Marvel Universe plus they could replace him with Toro who they brought back to life in the Avengers/Invaders cross-over series. They have done nothing with Toro since bringing him back. Makes sense to me.

Agree with most: the FF has had very few engaging storylines for the length of the series. I don't really care. Despite reviving the dead being cliche, I still like to see how they do it.

Capt. America was pretty silly.

assure you! They'll all be back eventually,

If Spidey is consoling Franklin it's because they will have both shared the same loss, that of an uncle. Bye, bye Johnny!
Minato

I never like hearing about the end of something. I remember it was all gonna end after Onslaught. Marvels first family needs to be shaken up but to try and get a buzz by saying it wil be the end is lame.

588 ? Really ? So i guess things will be back to normal one year later, with oversized Fantastic Four 600.
AC1

just my 2 cents, everyone assumes it's Johnny since Spidey will probably console franklin about losing an uncle, but franklin sees Ben as an uncle too, which means both will have lost an Uncle Ben. AND if Marvel really want to shake things up, they'd probably kill Ben or Sue, since they have the most 'friends' in the Superhero community out of the F4.
I hope it's not Johnny, he's by far my favourite member of the F4, but whoever DOES die, I just hope they get revived by March, as all comic book companies seem to do these days

Johnny makes sense because the original torch is back. His character has been rather flat lately.

Not to sound like a complete geek (too late), but Sue Storm already died in the What If series. She died giving birth in what was designated Earth-8312 in Marvel Encyclopedia: Fantastic Four.
Ambushbug
Ambushbug - 12/30/2010, 8:23 AM
Johnny dies, Sue can't take it so she walks away to take time off. Reed goes with her leaving just Ben to rebuild a team. I'm sure Franklin will be part of the team. I see them going with some unexpected choices for other members ala New Avengers when it first launched.
niknik
niknik - 12/30/2010, 8:24 AM
Big deal. Just another sales gimmick. So one of them is going to die. For how long? Six months? A year? Then they really weren't dead in the first place and Marvel gets more gimmick sales with a new Fantastic Four #1 issue.

Just like the death of Superman or Captain America or Batman or etc, etc, etc.

I still say its gonna Be Sue... they keep saying it will effect the hole Marvel U... She will effect the entire Universe if she crocked....
