Sweet! Love this book actually. Kinda hope they keep the "young" X-men in some way... Maybe kill off the old ones? IDK I like some of the old ones too so IDK if I would want that either. At any rate I'll keep reading this book!

Do you know why this book is working so well?
Because its going back to classics. Simple mutant versus sentinel.

"...big moves that will have huge circumstances for the X Men." Am I the only one that thinks that sounds off? Anyways, I love this book. Great stuff.

As for the time paradox stuff mentioned, I see no issue here. Setting aside that this is a comic book, the fact that everything is fine, implies that these X Men eventually get back to the past where Xavier mind wipes 'em of these experiences. Or the X Men disappearing from the past created a different time line separate from the 616 universe where the X Men disappeared. According to some theories, one event can lead to multiple time lines (one for each eventuality). In one time line, Hank and Scott had their argument and everything became as we see it now. In another, the original X Men vanished causing a whole different chain of events. Either way, the 616 timeline would be intact. The other possibility is that the writer is god and time travel works how he wants it to. Judging by Wolverine's dialogue about killing young Scott and solving all their problems (which of course it wouldn't for so many reasons), I'd say that last explanation is probably the one I'd go with.

Stunning artwork. After seeing some fish-face artwork being passed off in other books, its nice to see some real quality.

One of the best(if not THE best) Marvel Now title out now.

SN: Am I the only person still waiting on their first issue of Uncanny X-Men??

Danger Room training. Shadowcat is standing there without a care in the world. Glad we're back to basics for the time being tho.

Doctor Doom made a device so that you can later the timeline and have it stick for that timeline. Anything else and you simply create an alternate reality. So yes unless Beast utilized a Doom lock or similar then they are from an alternate timeline. A timeline where Cyclops may not grow up to have a pair of balls and face down Captain Nazi America Rogers and his James the snitch Howlett.

Awesome! Gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful artwork! Check out the scene where the Sentients are creeping through and descending on to the city.

I think Stuart Immomen has finally found the world that best showcases his incredible talent! Or has the X-Men found him?? LOL
