@GLprime they actually kinda retconned him during the War of Kings event where they kinda made him like Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle where the jewel that gives him his powers actually dominates the minds of the wearer but of course his was damaged so it didn't do that.

Who still reads these pointless X spin-off books?

It's not an X spin off book. You dont even understand the material and you're insulting it.

@Getsugatensho22 You're a dumbass, smh.

Anyway, this series has been surprisingly amazing so far. The new braddock academy students are the best new characters i've seen in a while.

I'm not gonna jump on the band wagon and bash this book. But I wonder were Kev Walker went? I hope he surfaces on a title soon. Preferably one I'm already reading.

I wonder if at the end of this event they will somehow bring back the characters they killed. I haven't read enough to know how many have died so far or who will die next, but I don't think it is cool that they are eager to kill off some of their newer characters

Why was Darkhawk taken along with the other kids? He was a teenager when he debuted in the early 90s, so surely he's an adult by now. 21/22, at least.

Why does this make me a dumbass?
Sheesh! My point was, besides the main titles like Avengers and X-men, there's literally a shitload of accompanying material like Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-force , Astonishing X-men and blah blah blah blah.
Who reads this? I mean, is there genuinely that much of a market? DC's now got 52 titles in it's main universe, and even then only a handful are doing great. How do these excess comics Marvel puts out do any business?

Also, If anybody else says "SMH" one more gosh-darned time, i swear i'm coming over and wringing that damn thing off. Ugh! such an annoying thing to read.

I bought issue 1 on the recommendation of the shop owners but still haven't read it.

Issue 4 already? Is this a weekly title?

I'm pretty sure Darkhawk's gotta be in his 20s by now. And technically, X-23's like what, 3 or 4?

I don't see how Chase is gonna make it out of this alive. But go Runaways! Junior X-Men characters are dispensible!
