Spinning out of the events of Captain America, Winter Soldier was written by Ed Brubaker before he handed over the reigns to Jason Latour a year later with issue #15. Despite the fact that it was not billed as the final issue in Marvel's June solicitations, Newsarama has now confirmed that it will not continue after that point. While it doesn't set the charts on fire, Winter Soldier does sell better than many other "Marvel NOW!" titles (although the publisher have recently cancelled one of those - Dark Avengers - too). One can only hope that Bucky doesn't end up in a title like Secret Avengers or Thunderbolts and that Marvel has plans for him in time for next year's movie.
