In March of 2012, see Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast and Marvel Girl as you never have before in X-MEN: SEASON ONE! This original graphic novel written by Dennis Hopeless will provide a fresh take on the formative days of Marvel's mighty mutant heroes.


Keep in mind that this is not a reboot of the comic, this is just a modern retelling of the origin. Marvel seems to be trying to make sure that there origin stays relevant in today's world.

Looks like an obvious Hope reference with the scarf. And Cyclops looks like the wolf dude from Twlight, which is.........weird.

I thought for sure this was a cartoon before i actually read. i was kinda more pumped for a cartoon retelling instead of another first class comic.... o well i guess.

no reboot. dont pull a DC. it would be pointless. they have some great storylines in the current x men. and so much action, and greatness.

You marvel kids are really funny to observe. This is very clearly NOT great X-Men level art. It is clean and well drawn but it is also boring. There's nothing wrong with the art, but, honestly, it just doesn't seem worthy of the X-Men. Quite frankly, it looks like all-ages art.
I say you Marvel kids are funny because it reads like it would be painful...actually painful...for you all to admit this is lackluster and boring art. It's somewhat charming to watch as you respond with a quizzical "uhhh?" to the mighty Marvel hackwork. trust me, life is FULL of garbage being packaged as roses and the ones you most admire are the ones serving up the biggest piles of it usually.
Marvel is no different. So far all the season one stuff looks bland and boring.

I saw X-men first class but those two charaters were not in it. Who are they? Where is Mystic and Bug girl and black character that dies, and um Beast. I honestly do not remember anyone else or their names. Was that it?
Marvel should show young shirtless Magneto tripping in to young Charles with hair and falling on the floor. Just like the movie damnit!
