This is the first of what will probably be more viral videos to come. At this point, I have no idea where this viral promotional effort is heading. Hopefully it leads to the announcement of "Man of Steel 2" during tomorrow's panel.

In an ideal world, we would have Goyer announcing his retirement and apologising to fans everywhere.

I really hope they announce MOS 2&3, and a Flash movie. WB should start releasing two CBM's a year.

That's pretty cool. Lets hope it is MOS2 along with something else! If it's just MOS2 I will be pretty disappointed.

And yes, Goyer needs help with his scriptwriting. Has anyone watched his DaVinci's Demons show? Man, it sucks!

@BlackJack10 People seem to forget that Begins and TDK (I will not mention TDKR cause I want to pretend it never happened) were co-written with Jonah Nolan. Goyer on his own... well, look at MoS... best line in that was a direct lift from Grant Morrison's All Star Superman. He's overrated imho.

I hope they announce Goyer is off the script.

Look, I have a lot of love for Man of Steel but it has it's share of problems. Some dialogue was SO bad.

I don't think Goyer should be COMPLETELY removed from MOS2, he just can't be the main writer. He needs to team up with someone who knows the ins and outs of story telling. He should be there for the comic book tie ins only - which is a HUGE part - but, leave the rest - the actual film-writing process - to the proven professional.

@Gunslinger Yeah, people fail to realize Jonathan Nolan and Chris Nolan are the actual stars. Not the Goyer/ Chris duo. You could even say Jonathan is maybe better given he mostly wrote memento and the idea for the show person of interest. Anyway i hope goyer is off screen writing duties for the sequel, that was the main issue in mos(for me). And just like jeremy jahns said, less could've been more (in the terms of the action).

Since ol Supes spent most of his time chewing concrete perhaps the sequel title will be

Drop Goyer. The Nolans need to be in charge of the DCCU. It was mainly their input that made TDK series what it is. Call me a Nolanite or whatever, but he knows how to manage a group of characters (Inception!), and can provide a packed story and action.

If WB wants to get the best out of DC's characters, they need to put them (at least, Jonathan) in charge of writing, and Chris as creative consultant with him directing Justice League in 2017-ish.

Give us Wonder Woman (beat Marvel to a female hero!), new Batman, Flash, and MOS2 for 2015 and 2016. Justice League in 2017 with them 4 and Green Lantern (redemption for Reynolds). That will open doors to an even bigger universe and more stories.

I don't get what was so bad about the dialogue in Man of Steel. I could understand some pacing issues and some minor plot holes, but I didn't detect anything wrong with the dialogue.
