Rob Liefeld is best known as the co-creator of Deadpool. Since the news broke out on a possible deal in which Disney buys 21th Century Fox fans have been speculating what it means for the currently Fox-owned franchises such as
X-Men and
Deadpool.
Liefeld isn't too fond of the idea that Disney would get their hands on the highly popular R-rated Deadpool franchise.
Here's what the artist had to say in an open letter on his Instagram account:
If a deal gets made it does cast a shadow of doubt on what would happen to Deadpool, its rating and everyone involved in the project, as well as the X-Men and X-Force franchises.
