CHRISTOPHER ROBIN: Here's An Adorable First Look At Tigger, Eeyore, And Piglet

If you've ever been a fan of Winnie the Pooh, it's fair to say you're probably counting down the days until Christopher Robin is released regardless of how old you are. The movie stars Ewan McGregor as the titular character and picks up with him as an adult in 1949 where he's been hardened by his experiences in World War II and is now serving as the efficiency manager at a luggage company.

While his family vacations in the Hundred Acre Wood, he's stuck in London with work and it's then that he receives a visit from Pooh. However, the rest of his childhood toys also eventually show up and we now have a first look at Tigger (Chris O’Dowd), Eeyore (Brad Garrett), and Piglet (Nick Mohammed).

As for how other people will perceive the toys, director Marc Forster has shed some light on that in a new interview. "They perceive them as stuffed animals," he explains. "It’s not that they’re invisible." Set for release on August 3rd, we should have more for you on Christopher Robin in the coming weeks.

@smgmayhem - And period-perfection for using the original doll designs. Warts and all. Kinda ballsy!

Look great. When I was little kid, Pooh and dinosaurs were my biggest interests.

Only Robbins sees them as living beings, everyone else sees them as stuffed animals. It's right in the god damn article.

@blackandyellow - sooooo many suffer from poor reading comprehension. Calvin and Hobbes does great with that concept
