DOCTOR STRANGE Director Scott Derrickson Posts New Set Image; Confirms SDCC Appearance
Derrickson has posted a snap of himself alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Chewitel Ejiorur as Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo. He's also confirmed that he'll be taking the movie to Comic Con.
When 20th century Fox pulled out of this year's San Diego Comic Con due to piracy concerns, we were led to believe that there was a chance both Warner Bros. and Marvel would follow suit - but last night we heard that Suicide Squad would have a "major presence" at the convention, and now it's been confirmed that we'll also be seeing something from Doctor Strange.
The film's director Scott Derrickson sent out the Tweet below, along with an image from the set that was taken back in March.
In Doctor Strange, famous neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) suffers career-ending injuries in a devastating car crash. Seeking help in the furthest reaches of the world, Strange uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions!
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton, Doctor Strange is currently set to be released on November 4th. What do you hope to see from the movie at SDCC this year?
