New DOCTOR STRANGE Set Pics Show Closer Look At Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme

Great new photos have emerged from the Nepal set of Doctor Strange and they reveal not only a much better look at Benedict Cumberbatch in full costume, but also the possibility that his Sorcerer Supreme will be American as opposed to British. Check it out after the jump!

Principal photography on Marvel's Doctor Strange picked up this morning in Kathmandu, Nepal, following yesterday's unconventional commencement. And several new photos have surfaced from the shoot (via Twitter and Instagram) with a much closer look at a scruffy Benedict Cumberbatch in full costume as Stephen Strange. Furthermore, the Oscar-nominated actor's dialect coach, Sarah Shepherd, has been posting photos on social media from the same filming location which could imply that Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme will have an American accent as opposed to British.

There is no word on how long Doctor Strange will be filming in Nepal, but the Marvel Studios production (aliased Eye See You) is expected to head to London next month. In the meantime, be on the lookout for more photos hopefully with other cast members in costume. What do you think?

Directed by Scott Derrickson, Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Stephen Strange), Rachael McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo), Tilda Swinton (The Ancient One), with  Mads Mikkelsen, and Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West), and the movie opens November 4, 2016.

Cumberbatch looks great though... I'm really hoping for an official release of some kind now.

Hahahahaha people keep coming with the Batman Begins jokes. Doc Strange and Batman are sooooooooooo different as characters. They inhabit such different worlds.

He wasn't my top choice as other actors resemble the comic version more, but you know what, he really does give a weird sorcerer kind of vibe. He's a great actor so I am looking forward to this.

Is anybody else not getting a Doctor Strange vibe from him? I don't know maybe it's the clothes, but I just don't feel it yet.

There's no joke, the Strange Origin/Journey and Batman Begins Journey have been compared way before Strange was even in production

Their different characters by how they traveled the world, etc, and trained is similar

Plus, the look of Wayne in Begins in similar too

Doesn't take away from either movie though, imo

@Kr08

I feel like the color scheme of his clothes is a little forced here, and hints at the colors of his actual Strange costume a little too much, imo

I just hope there's less Disney influence in this film, Strange is a great character, great origin too

Nice set pics. Strange has one of the best origin stories, so i'm glad they're telling it.

Looking forward to seeing him in full costume.
