On the heels of the recent final trailer for Marvel's Eternals, Empire Magazine has debuted a new image from the movie which sees several members of the cosmic super-team gather in the desert.
Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), who appears to be conjuring an image of the crew's ship, is joined by Sprite (Lia McHugh), Ikaris (Richard Madden), Sersi (Gemma Chan), with Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), Gigamesh (Don Lee) and Druig (Barry Keoghan) in the background.
Producer Nate Moore also spoke to the mag about the similarities between Eternals and director Chloé Zhao's earlier film Nomadland, which picked up several major wins at this year's Academy Awards.
“Chloé’s interested in telling stories about outsiders who find themselves adrift in new worlds. Nomadland and Eternals both share that DNA,” he explains. “Nomadland doesn’t have the same bells and whistles as Eternals, but it has the same thematic resonance.”
Eternals also stars Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Salma Hayak as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harrington will also appear as Dane Whitman, aka Black Knight.
The Marvel Studios movie features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 4.
