With the actors and directors done, I've decidede to try somethinga a bit new. We've seen Frankenstein meets the Wolfman, Dracula vs. Frankenstein and Freddy vs. Jason. Some of the best vs horror movies around. Since then several films of this type have been rumored to be in the works. Some by fans, other by the actual studios. Some are included here. I'll put the idea and why one might see this as a good film. At the end, two possible sequels to Freddy vs. Jason will be featured. I'll also put how likely it is they'll get made. Let's begin.
Chucky vs. Leprechaun

Why this is a good idea: I honestly don't know who started this rumor: fans or studios. It's a pretty safe bet fans did, but you never know. The only reason people would like to see it is due to their height. But another reason is the dialouge would be interesting and fun to write given their personalities. Since Warwick is no longer playing Leprechaun, I don't see this happening anytime soon. But we shall see. This is a rather uneven matchup, seeing as how the Leprechaun is ten times more powerful then Chucky. In fact, I've got to other matchups that may be more even to both characters.
Leprechaun vs. Wishmaster
Why this is a good idea: This is more of a fair fight in my opinion. Both characters have magic on their side. Once again, the dialouge would be fun to write. We all should know of the trailer that hit the internet a few years back. It looked real, but, of course, it wasen't. But as I stated, Davis is no longer playing the Leprechaun. I actually wrote a script for it, but never did end up sending it. What good would it do, since the Leprechaun franchise is getting remade?
Chucky vs. Puppet Master
Why this is a good idea: In my opinion, this is even of more of an even match. It's not hard to see why this could be a vs. movie. The two franchises put dolls back in terms of being horror characters. The puppets did become good guys as the series continued, so the plot would be easy: Chucky somes to life and the puppets have to stop him. Now, there would be more to it then that, but that's the basic plot. Since both series will eventually see a remake, this wouldn't be too hard to see in the future.
Jason vs. Michael
Why this is a good idea: This was once rumored back in the 90's I do belive. It's not hard to see why fans have wanted this for so long. The many similarites between the two characters and the stories that could be used to bring them together. What's even more interesting is that the two wouldn't speak (naturally), but rather the teens that are caught in the middle. Since both have been remade, if it happens, it'll be those two versions fighting.
Jason vs. Leatherface
Why this is a good idea: I think this speaks for itself. A comic of it came out a few years ago and it had a pretty good storyline. Just use that plot and add some teens in the middle and you've basically got the movie right there. I remember reading that it was to be made sometime after Freddy vs. Jason, but it was probably a fan rumor at best. Luckily for us, Trent Duncan gave us this film not to long ago. That's the closest we'll ever get to it.
Hannibal vs. Jigsaw
Why this is a good idea: This wouldn't be a physical matchup, but rather a battle of wits. The two are two of the smartest slashers to exist. Putting them together would be no doubt interesting. But Hopkins has no desire to return to the role of Lector and Jigsaw's already dead, so this won't happen at all.
Michael vs. Leatherface
Why this is a good idea: This was actually going to happen. You see, after TCM 2, Canon Films wanted this to be made or at least showed interest in it. John Carpenter, however, wasen't interested and it was scrapped. This would make sense sinc both come from the 70's, and they don't speak. It would a good fight to see, but the Halloween series isn't getting anywhere and TCM 3D is to be released next January. So, it may happen and it may not.
Freddy vs. Pinhead
Why this is a good idea: This could be a better match up then FvJ. Both do have supernatural abilites that they could use against eachother, but Freddy's would only work in the dreamworld. It's a very interesting fight because of the dream world, since both can go there and it could go either way. Pinhead would win in the end, but the fight would be worth seeing. Since neither franchise is getting anywhre, I doubt it'll happen.
Leatherface vs. Pluto
Why this is a good idea: This was rumored after FvJ's success. The only reason it was considered is the basic similarites between Leatherface and Pluto: Both, big mentally challenged, brutes. Other then that, I don't see how you'd put them together. But give the above statment about them being big mentally challenged psychos would make the fight fun. This won't get made since The Hills Have Eyes franchise isn't getting anywhere.
Pinhead vs. Michael
Why this is a good idea: This was really going to happen. After FvJ's success, Clive Barker and John Carpenter decidede to pit their two most famous creations fighting. Barker was to write and Carpenter was to direct. Of course, it didn't get anywhere beyond that. That fact alone is why this needs to happen: the two men who created them working together to make it. They know the two better then anyone else, so there's no way the movie would screw up continuity more then the sequels have. Neither are getting anywhere, so it could happen and it couldn't.
Leatherface vs. Jigsaw
Why this is a good idea: Before anyone jumps on me, let me explain. The only reason it's even on this list is because both are owned by Twisted Pictures. With that said, there's little doubt in my mind the studio would indeed try to make it. It's not a good idea, but since both are under the same studio roof, I feel as though I should at least address it. Funny how the most ridiculous idea on here is the one that might end up getting made.
Candyman vs. Pinhead
Why this is a good idea: This was actually mentioned by Tony Todd himself. He said him and Clive are trying to make this or Candyman 4. I'm good either way. But since Barker created both, this would make the most sense. Knowing Barker, he'd create a good story to put them together. Like most of the ideas here, neither franchise is getting anywhere, so I'd doubt we'll see it anytime soon.
And last but not least, the two sequels to Freddy vs. Jason:
Freddy vs. Jason vs. Michael
and Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash
Why these are good ideas: For FvJvM, it's no question fans want to see the top three slashers battle it out on the big screen. Mr. Englund said he'd love to do it, and even said New Line was in talks with Carpenter to use Michael for the sequel. As for FvJvA, the comic may be the closest thing we'll see. But what's odd is that Sam Raimi said he'd do it and turned around and didn't let it happen. Either way, Kane Hodder was to reprise the role of Jason in either sequel. But with all 4 franchises remade, neither will see the light of day. On a lighter note, Trent Duncan made a FvJvA fan film, along with his Jason vs. Leatherface film.
Well, that's my idea on a few future horror movies crossovers. Not all are posters, and I do apologize if my reasons weren't very clear. Tommorrow, I'm listing the best Halloween themed comics.
