The Amazing Spider-Man is undoubtedly my most anticipated movie of the summer. I did have doubts, but the new trailer has made the movie shoot up to #1 position. Over the past couple of days, I've been compiling a bible for 5 sequels to the movie, with plot details, villains etc. There'll be 6 movies in total, and 2 trilogies. The first will be called The Amazing Spider-Man Trilogy and the second will be The Ultimate Spider-Man Trilogy. Wanna check it out? Read the first trilogy below!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Plot:

Peter Parker is in his senior year of high school and needs money to continue being Spider-Man. He is still devastated from the loss of his mentor and later nemesis, Dr. Curt Connors. He has always been interested in photography, but lands a job delivering pizza. When delivering a pizza to J. Jonah Jameson of Daily Bugle, Peter notices that there is a crisis at hand: Their computer network is down. Being the wiz kid that he is, he taps a few keys and the problem is sorted in no time. J.J.J is impressed, and hires Peter to be their new Web Designer.

Norman Osborn has returned from a business trip in India, and is shocked to discover that the building of Oscorp has been destroyed completely by a vigilante known as Spider-Man. Enraged, he makes it his #1 concern to put a stop to his antics. His son, Harry Osborn has been expelled from an English Boarding School and is forced to return to America. As punshiment from his father, he is forced to visit a normal high school and repeat his senior year. During a party, he meets Web Designer Peter Parker and the two become instant friends. He immediately becomes popular, and finds himself with a new girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson.

Peter is continuing his relationship with Gwen Stacy, but it is now an awkward and strained one, as she knows he is Spider-Man and he couldn't save her father from being killed by The Lizard. Peter starts developing feelings for MJ, and soon begins to wonder whether or not he truly does love Gwen.

Norman is trying to create a serum which will enable the consumer to develop superhuman abilities, including super-strength, senses and agility. All the test subjects have died, but he refrains telling the board anything about this and instead plants fake evidence that Spider-Man is to blame. Finally, he tries the serum on himself but it goes horribly wrong: His skin turns green and his appearance changes. He is a Green Goblin.

Whilst Spidey is doing his nightly rounds, he finds Harry and MJ being attacked by thugs. He swoops into save them, and succeeds, but a thug manages to pull off his mask but doesn't see anything as Peter knocks him out, but Harry and MJ learn his secret identity. They swear to keep it a secret, and continue home. Spidey knows that he has to be more careful, especially because he is being accused of murder.

Gwen and Peter have an argument over the murder case. Peter insists that it's a hoax, but she doesn't believe him and breaks up with him. This is the last time they ever speak. Norman develops a glider for his transport and decides that he will become a criminal and destroy Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, J.J.J's son John Jameson has given up on his dreams to become an astrounaut and is developing a suit that will help him take over New York. He wants to become the next Lizard, and calls himself Scorpion. The suit is a bulletproof blue robotic costume with a long tale at the end with an electronic charge on the end, just like a Scorpion's sting.

After a series of attacks on New York by the newly teamed-up Scorpion and Green Goblin, Harry Osborn discovers that his father is the Green Goblin whilst in his father's penthouse. He is shocked, but can't bring himself to turn his father in, so keeps it a secret. Because Norman is permanently Green Goblin, he made up a story that he had been kidnapped by the Green Goblin.

Norman Osborn has been secretly developing an atomic bomb ever since he decided to destroy Spider-Man. He has made himself head of various different building sites across New York (including the one re-building Oscorp), placing different parts of the bomb there. When detonated, the whole of New York will be destroyed. On top of the half-completed Oscorp, Spidey fights the Scorpion and manages to defeat him by bringing his tail around and shooting Scorpion in the chest with it. It doesn't kill him, but he is knocked out and falls to the ground below where he is caught by the Fire Fighters and arrested.

Peter feels guilty about Gwen. Since breaking up with him, she has turned into a bad girl and started dating Flash Thompson. She has been suspended from school and developed a bad girl image. Osborn kidnaps Gwen from her home and holds her from the roof of Oscorp by a thin rope. Spidey battles Goblin on the roof, and discovers that he is Norman Osborn. As punishment for this, Goblin cuts the rope holding up Gwen Stacy. Spidey leaps down to save her, but discovers that he is out of webbing. Shocked, he falls to his death. He miraculously manages to replace his webbing whilst in the air, and grabs Gwen by it whilst sticking to the wall. He is thankful, and when he pulls her back up he is devestated to discover that the sudden stop in Gwen's fall has caused her to die.

Peter can't believe it. He has stayed away from the girl he once loved and now she's dead. He loses his footing and falls to the ground, with her in his arms. An ambulance arrives and doctors and police rush to take Gwen away. Peter doesn't know what to do, until he sees Goblin flying away on the Glider. He rises up, and shoots a piece of webbing that attaches to the bottom of the glider, bringing him into the air. In the crows, a student gets out his camcorder and films the fight. When Spidey sticks to the bottom, he swings forward and up on web and kicks Osborn off of the Glider, both of them falling back onto the roof of Oscorp. The scene from now on is viewed through the camera. Spidey beats the living crap out of Osborn. His abilities are forgotton, and Spidey is winning by a long shot. The crowd are shocked to see Spidey turn to such a violent nature. Osborn gets up and backs away, trying to convince Spidey to stop before he does anything rash. He comes back with the line, "Hypocrite." Osborn grabs a mini-Goblin bomb and throws it at Spidey. This scene is slo-mo. Spidey grabs the bomb by a web and swings it back around to Osborn, dodging it. The bomb swings around to GG's face and explodes. The wall behind him is partially destroyed, and falls foward, crushing him. His face is poking out, half of it is now blood red. He mutters, "I'm sorry Peter." And dies. Roll credits.

Cast: Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jason Isaacs as Norman Osborn, Ariana Grande as Mary Jane Watson, Anton Yelchin as Harry Osborn and Karl Urban as John Jameson/Scorpion.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3

Plot:

I haven't thought as much about this one, but Peter has given up being Spider-Man. The video of Spidey killing GG went viral and it got trending on Twitter in seconds. Harry is angry that Peter killed his father, no matter what he did. He wants to get revenge on Peter, but they have graduated from High School and Peter has quit his job and seperated himself from the world. Since Norman's death, Harry has turned into quite a dark and unforgiving character, leading MJ to break up with him. Now, Oscorp is the only thing he has left. It has been a year since the incident, and Harry decides that he wants to kill Spider-Man. So he hires Russian assassin The Chameleon to start killing NY celebrities in the hope of bringing Spider-Man out of hiding. The reason he is called Chameleon is because he has developed an exoskeleton that allows him to disguise himself as anybody he wishes, he just has to think of their appearance. MJ locates Peter, and urges him to come out of hiding to stop Chameleon's killing spree, not knowing of Harry's plan. She convinces him, and he becomes Spider-Man again.

They also begin dating, and Peter thinks that he truly loves MJ. Electrician Max Dillon has always wanted to control electricity sinc ehe was a child. He has also always been a tech wiz. He develops a super suit and nicknames himself Electro. The suit draws electricity from nearby sources and transmits it to the chosen destination via a booster circular-thingy on his chest. He doesn't have any big goals, but he wants to bring terror to NY and possibly work with Chameleon, unknown to him is the fact that Harry Osborn is employing Chameleon to do his dirty work.

As I said, I haven't given this one much thought. Chameleon and Electro wreck terror on the city, Spidey has to rise and save it etc. At the end in the climatic battle, he discovers that Harry is behind this and turns his friend in. Electro is killed in battle, but it is later revealed that it was in fact Chameleon who was killed and Electro escaped. Peter proposes to MJ, and the finale of the trilogy is the two getting married.

Cast: Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Ariana Grande as Mary Jane Watson, Christoph Waltz as The Chameleon, Anton Yelchin as Harry Osborn and Ben Foster as Electro.

Well that's it. Stay on the lookout for my Ultimate Spider-Man Triogy, and share your thoughts in the usual place!
