Film 1:The film starts in OsCorp, when Herman Shultz is fired for working on a project that was called off. Other workers confiscate his work and destroy it. Herman swears revenge on Norman, and rebuilds his project. Norman checks on the "super-spider". When Midtown High goes on a field trip to OsCorp, the spider had escaped because of Herman opening it's container and having it escape before someone could seal off the opening. Peter is bitten by the spider, and passes out for two days. Peter gains super-powers, and uses them to get rich quick. His Uncle Ben drove him to the library, thinking he was going to study. He gives the Great Power Great Responsibility speech. Peter goes to a wrestling match, under the name, "Spider-man". He wins the match, but when he refuses to reveal his identity, he doesn't get paid. As Peter walks out the door, he hears the manager yelling "STOP HIM!".
Peter sees the robber, but does nothing. He goes back to the library, only to see Uncle Ben dead, and a car speeding away. Peter follows the car to a warehouse, where he chases the man in the car up to the top floor. He picks the man up, and puts him into the light, seeing that it was the robber that he let get away. He throws him out the window, but webs him at the last second. Peter returns to Midtown, with everyone worrying about him, and his dead uncle. Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn are the only people he lets near him. We now see Herman finish his gauntlets, though weak, the sonic waves it emits are strong enough to break through steel at full power. He robs many banks to pay for upgrading his gauntlets. When Peter becomes Spider-Man, he sees Herman, and cracks a joke about the costume he's wearing, calling him "quilt face". Herman responds by saying "I don't like your jokes". Spider-Man doges a blast, and says"Well that's a shocker". Herman takes the money and blasts Spider-Man at full power. Herman upgrades his gauntlets, so that when they are at 10% power the energy can break steel, and 100% can kill a man. Herman now thinks that he is ready to invade OsCorp and kill Norman. He goes to OsCorp, and destroys all the work that all scientists have been doing. He then destroys the roof of the lab. Peter sees large rays of light coming from the OsCorp building. He swings into action, and sees Herman. He tries to hit Spider-man with a blast at 100%. As the fight is happening, Norman walks into the labs. Herman takes aim at Osborn, but Peter takes the blast. Herman says that was fine, and that he can shoot again. But when he pulls the trigger, nothing happens. He inspects his gauntlets, only to discover that the beam emitter and generator had been webbed up. A battered Spider-Man is laughing and coughing at the same time. Herman is placed in jail, and Peter has gotten a job at the Daily Bugle as a photographer of Spider-man, whom the editor hates. Norman put two and two together, and figured out that Peter is Spider-Man. Norman thinks that if the serum can boost a spiders abilities, then he thinks that a serum in himself would boost all of his abilities, which could result in another Super-Soldier Serum.
End Credits Scene: Two Years Later sign in the Daily Bugle. J Jonah Jameson is making a private call. "Have them ready by next week. Yes next week Smythe, I mean it! He's a PUBLIC MENACE! Just get me those robots of yours! I want him dead.
